South Lancashire & North Cheshire v5.0 - Updated 07/08/2021
By Andy Freeman and Nick Hudson
Nick sadly passed away suddenly at the end of 2020. Nick created all of the track and signalling infrastructure, custom road traffic and reskinned several assets for the route – he was always far ahead of me with the track and had already completed the track through to Crewe ( along with sections between Manchester and Wigan, Frodsham to Hooton and the Northwich area ). I have decided to complete the scenery on all sections for which Nick had completed the track and associated infrastructure.
I dedicate this section of the route to Nick, we never met in person but I regarded him as a friend.
Andy
This Network is a continuation and enlargement of our previously published route "Liverpool to Manchester Victoria and Manchester Piccadilly - BR Blue Period". Details for that are included in one of the Manuals included.

Golden Valleys freeware route West of England released https://www.golden-age-develop…o.uk/west-of-england.html
DESCRIPTION
Description:
This route (Phase 1) covers the roughly 27-mile section of track between Exeter Central and Axminster as it would have appeared in the late-SR to early-BR era (c.1940 to c.1956). In stark contrast to the line as it exists today, there are two tracks throughout, intersected by branch lines to various seaside resorts on the East Devon coast. Many stations are unrecognisable, with full station buildings, bay platforms, sidings, yards, and much more substantial facilities. Passenger services range from local stopping trains to top-link named expresses, with freight services ranging from start-stop local vans trains, to heavy mineral through trains and important overnight newspaper trains. The route is intended to accurately depict the route with only minor embellishments for playability and minimal use of artistic licence. Scenery has been intricately placed to give the feeling that you are truly in Devon in the 1940s. The provision of numerous highly detailed custom assets has allowed us to faithfully recreate the many stations and locations along the line.

Thanks to MaxCook I have uploaded a fix for the R49 stock on the Virtual District Line, it consists of a new Controlnames.txt file which need to be placed in your Settings folder and a new lever map which need to be placed in KeyMaps\Levers\RSCOTT\LONDONTRANSPORT folder.
you can download the two files here
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/cbwyvjrt3x6g ... tracking=1
If you wish to update your controlnames.txt file instead of overwriting it then you need to add the following entries.
Lever=Reverser=REVhandle
Lever=ThrottleAndBrake=MChandle
Lever=TrainBrake=DBhandle
