Zum vollen Preis vorbestellen, dann werdet man doch lieber ab bis erste Reaktionen dazu kommen, aber für den vollen verkaufs preis jetzt vorbestellen, ohne zu wissen was einen erwartet,eher nicht!Zu dem ist ja nicht mal eine Produktbeschreibung verfügbar!

Wird wohl so sein wie jedes andere RG AddOn, nicht gut aber auch nicht schlecht.

Es handelt sich aber nicht rein um ein Rivet Games Produkt sondern um ein "Partner Projekt.

Ja stimmt sehe ich auch gerade, sieht aber auch nicht wirklich schön aus was zu sehen ist.

Seit einiger Zeit gibt es auch eine umfangreichere Freeware-Version. Ich werde diese weiterhin verwenden.

Uff... Diese Gleise... Vegetation trostlos, Seltsame Texturen... Sieht ja nicht sehr vielversprechend aus.

The freeware version has been withdrawn, supposedly temporarily. Whether it has anything to do with this announcement is unknown at the moment.

Oh man, da habe ich mich eben kurz gefreut, weil ich da oben schon unterwegs war und ein weiteres Einsatzgebiet für die Class 32x von AP neben der GEML sehr willkommen wäre, vor allem in brauchbarer RG Qualität. Aber dann sehe ich die Bilder, wundere mich über die für RG-Verhältnisse miese Qualität und lese schließlich was von "Partner Projekt".

Warum muss RG jetzt auch noch mit sowas anfangen? Da blickt man doch nicht durch und kauft dann so einen (mehr oder weniger) Müll. Die Bilder erinnern an Just Trains Strecken und DTG Strecken aus 2013 um den Dreh.

It is a pity to hear, It is a nice route that I have already spent many hours on.

Mir kam tatsächlich irgendwie die Überlegung ob es evntl ne Art Auskopplung aus der Freeware sein könnte, mit evntl Anpassung von Assets sodass keine anderen Addons benötigt werden ?

Mag vielleicht sein... Aber selbst wenn, das rechtfertigt doch keine 30€.

Die Produktbeschreibung ist irgendwie ein bisschen löchrig...

I wonder if they will take a section of the freeware route, update it with some new assets, and then a freeware expansion of that will continue. Time will tell.

fizzbin Laut Aussage des Entwicklers der Freeware ist es tatsächlich eine Auskopplung seiner Strecke mit extra dafür gefertigten Assets.

Sind eben auch aus Schottland, und haben (oder der Entwickler hat) hier eine schöne Möglichkeit gesehen um die Strecke zu erwirtschaften und damit Geld zu verdienen.

It will be a part of the freeware route with some new assets and the class 322. The route is now quite old, although parts of it have been refreshed. If it becomes a requirement for a future expanded freeware route I might buy it in a sale. Otherwise I am happy with what I have for the moment. But I think personally there is now desperation to keep the money coming for DTG with as little time invested as possible. For sure their earnings will be affected by Covid and mass job losses in the four nations (We are no longer a united kingdom) and elsewhere.

holzroller The publisher is Rivet, not DTG (although DTG will benefit indirectly if the route is also published on Steam). if what you say is also true for Rivet then this is worrying for this relatively new venture.

jpvdveer I'm aware that the publisher is Rivet, but they appear to be a subsidiary of DTG, and it looks like they will now follow the same path. It will be interesting to see how much extra work is put into this.
