    I've been driving on 3CCR today after some time. Now that the tunnels are fixed (first by the community, now by RSC suprisingly as well) the bigger remaining issue is the people that are either floating or find themselves inside the platforms. I think it was discussed here before in German as well.


    Are you somehow going to fix it or is it something RSC has to fix?

    There are some places where people now seem to be floating below the invisible platforms. One such example is the bridge across the tracks in Bregenz. This has been fixed.


    A much more complex issue are the people that are sunken into the platforms. The invisible platforms are nicely laid in a straight line and across the surface of the actual platform. Why people tend to sink into the platform at some places is a bit of a mystery to me. Also it doesn't happen everywhere even though almost all stations where built with the same technique.


    One could hope for an update by RSC (I have seen the same happening on some RSC routes) but let's be honest, it is unlikely to happen.


    So maybe some more detective work on my part. However I am slowly running out of time.

    yes, TS2014 is a pain since the day it was released. Actually the main reason I posted my question was exactly the floating people under the bridge in Bregenz. You say it's been fixed... how? You mean by an RSC's update or by yours? I should have TS2014 updated and there is no patch for 3CCR available (as far as I know)?

    Yes TS2014 has a few quirks that need addressing. I initially hoped to have the TS2014 patch ready by end of October but that doesn't seem very likely now.


    I have fixed the floating people in Bregenz myself, so you will have to wait until the patch is out. The patch will be huge and will include some major changes such as a brand new road system, new buildings and new foliage.


    I will let you all know when it is ready. The update will of course be free for all existing customers.

    so leid es mir tut .. da muss ich dir empfehlen, dich auf die Problemsuche in deiner TS-Installation zu machen. Leider ist so eine Strecke machtlos gegenüber verschiedenen Problemen, die von Menge und Art installierter Freeware herrühren. Da hilft auch kein Update, da hilft nur das Erlangen von Wissen über die Anfälligkeiten des TS. Ich kann dir aber versichern, dass die 3CCR auch im Winter auf einer sauberen TS-Installation ohne Vergiftungen durch die falsche oder zu viele Freeware rennt "wie Schmitt's Katze".

    ....ich vermute mal dass Eisenbahnfreak_98 von Lindau aus ein QD fahren wollte. Das kann ich seit dem TS 2014 auch nicht mehr, ab Bregenz gehts. Da es wie weiter vorn zu lesen mehreren so geht vermute ich mal dass ich nicht an der TS Installation liegt. Ich habe z.B. kaum Freeware. Muss ich die Hoffnung dass das Update das Problem löst begraben ?

    Mist - jetzt hab ich gerade über ne halbe Stunde ne umfangreiche Antwort geschrieben, und dann konnte ich nicht abschicken, weil Login abgelaufen war ... daher jetzt nur ne Kurzfassung:


    QD ist natürlich nochmal was anderes als die Strecke selbst.


    Für das schon in TS2013 existierende Problem (Kollision, falsches Ziel) bei der Fahrt ab Lindau gab es einen Patch


    4 der 15 QD-Szenarien der 3CCR funktionieren in TS2014 nicht mehr. Das betrifft:
    - Bludenz Richtung Arlberg
    - Feldkirch Richtung Arlberg
    - Lindau Richtung Arlberg
    - Rorschach nach Lindau
    mittlerweile sind alle QDs überarbeitet, so dass sie im TS2014 wieder funktionieren (kommt dann mit dem 3CCR Update).
    Ich bin noch an weiteren Änderungen, die die Funktionsfähigkeit bei den Benutzern verbessern sollen, bei denen der TS an die (Asset-)Grenzen stößt.

    Die Tester haben jetzt schon die neue Version der Strecke und ich arbeite gerade das feedback ab. Bis jetzt sinds zum Glueck hauptsaechlich Kleinigkeiten die ich schnell abarbeiten konnte.


    Ich denke es wird jetzt dann relativ schnell gehen mit dem Patch. Dann kommt auch recht bald die DVD Version raus.

    Ich weiß nicht genau ob du den Hinweis schon bekommen hast oder ob du es selber rausgefunden hast.


    Auf Google Maps / Earth gibt es mittlerweile neue und ziemlich gut Aufgelöste Luftbilder - unter anderem ist auch das neue Layout vom Dornbirner Bahnhof dabei - hoffe das es dir weiterhilft.


    Falls du eventuell noch Bilder aus Dornbirn suchst - ich bin Morgen/Heute (Samstag ;)) mit Kamera bepackt am Bahnhof :)

    @ Matt: Danke, und ja weiss ich. Gleisaenderungen sind aber vorerst nicht gaplant da sonst alle Szenrien nochmals neu gemacht werden muessen. wie es mit dieser strecke nach dem Update weitergeht wird sich wohl erst 2014/15 entscheiden. das haengt ja nicht nur von mir ab. Entweder wird weiter gebaut oder nur etwas umgebaut. Wir werden sehen.


    Alfa: LOL! Das ist ja ein Mega-Zug! Kommt man mit sowas ueberhaupt den Arlberg hinauf?
