- enter "steam://open/console"
another tab will appear in your Steam client, named CONSOLE. Switch to it and enter these codes in the bottom input field, one after another. You'll probably have to wait until one is finished to enter the next one. You will only have access to DLC you own of course.
Now Steam will download the correct and latest files for the affected DLC. They will be stored in the folder "Steamapps\content\app_24010\depot_*\", nothing will be installed, that you need to do manually by then copying the Assets and Content folder from there to your RailWorks folder.
If you got the space, you might want to keep the downloaded files as a backup, as there's a certain probability DTG will again mess something up. That's not prejudice but experience. Otherwise, you may delete that steamapps\content folder after you have transferred the files.
Finally, clear the cache.
