RW Enhancer 2 erschienen

    Hallo, ich habe da ein ziemlich blödes Problem. Immer wenn ich ein QD mit dem Enhancer 2 spiele, dann stelle ich fest, dass danach etliche Strecken fehlen. Ich muss daher dann immer das Cache leeren und ausserdem die Dateien SBDcache und TMcache löschen. Ist doch etwas mühsam und ich weiss nicht, ob ich der Einzige mit diesem Problem bin. Man kann damit leben, nur muss man immer daran denken, nbach der Fahrt diese 4 Dateien zu löschen, was ja somit zur Folge hat, dass ich zuerst den Train Simulator allein starten muss, damit die Strecken wieder geladen werden und danach erst den Enhancer 2 anwerfen.

    illige Das passiert, wenn man den TS über den "Finish Service" Button vom RWE2 schließt. Seitdem mir das ein paar Male passiert ist, beende ich immer ganz normal das Szenario und dann den TS auf klassischem Wege, dann bleibt auch alles erhalten. Der TS mag es wohl einfach nicht, wenn man ihn "vorzeitig" beendet.

    Hello, this is a bug introduced in latest windows updates and this is currently affecting many developers. Microsoft has found the issue and the fix will be released very soon (if not already) via windows update. :)

    That buggy Microsoft update has messed up quite a lot of softwares that use some web services/API's and delayed my work on RW Enhancer for two weeks, Microsoft updates quality is not very great lately. Hopefully it will get nicer in the near future.


    I was also affected by this issue for my azure voices with RWE 2 and the KB5018496 windows update (for Win11) was available this morning for me (it is distributed gradually for all users) and this update has indeed fixed the azure voices issue for me. I guess it should also be out soon for Win 10.

    Indeed, updating Windows. You will first need to manually initiate the installation of the 22H2 service pack. Then the additional updates on top of that (which should come automatically).


    KB5018496 is particularly important, but as that update requires 22H2 it will only appear once you have the service pack installed. And the service pack is such a large update that this is not carried out automatically.


    Allow 30-60 minutes for the whole process.

    Hi Oldsnake - it has become a bit quieter around RWE2 in recent months. I use it all the time though and I'm sure many others do too. Will also renew my premium subscription in January as the Azure voices are great. RWE2 has really made for a massive improvement in the whole TS Classic experience. Many thanks for churning out new updates so regularly. Vulcan support is great.


    One development I had been waiting for but that does not seem to be forthcoming is track monitor customisation. Is this still planned at some point? Tweaks that would be very useful from my point of view would be:

    • ability to hide signals
    • ability to hide the white line underneath the track monitor (this is annoying when driving at night - setting opacity at 0% removes the track monitor background but not the white line)
    • ability to hide the little "train" (it is already very unobtrusive, but to me it does not add anything)

    Bei mir läuft der HUD des RW Enhancers 2 nicht. Im TS steht alles auf Vollbild, so wie im RWE Wiki erläutert. Wenn ich ein Szenario starte, flackert ganz kurz eine Meldung vom Enhancer, ich konnte "Beginn Scenario" erkennen, aber dann wars das. Ich kann nichts einstellen, das HUD ist nicht da, nur die Standardsachen vom TS. Was mache ich da falsch?
