[AP] Wherry Lines Route released

    Hab mir die Strecke jetzt per steam geholt. Der Sale kam einfach zuuuu perfekt. Normal kauf ich ja gern beim Ersteller.
    Wollte nur für die Tipps danken. Die Strecke und die 37 sind ja irre! Hab bisher fast nur britische DTG Strecken. Die sind zwar auch alle nicht schlecht, aber dass gibt ja dem Thema GB im TS eine ganz andere Tiefe!

This helps provide a seamless transition between the track and surrounding environment. Also, whether track is jointed or not is now based on the state of the route in 2015 (the rough era of our simulated route), and not 2007 which was previously used. For more variety in scenarios though, we will offer custom files to scenario creators that allow scenarios set in older times to have jointed track in the right places. For a scenario set in 2003 then, you will hear a lot more "clickety clack" than the default era of the route. Note that these will only be audible changes as Train Simulator does not support changing the visuals of track on a per scenario basis. Finally, for anyone familiar with the route, there is a section of track between Buckenham and Brundall (heading towards Norwich) which produces the classic 'roaring rails' sound, something not heard too often on today's rail network. This has also now been simulated. Please see the 'Before and After' screenshots below which demonstrate the visual difference. You'll also see a change to the fencing which now looks a little more refined. Please stay tuned for more information.

    Ganz ehrlich ... so anders sieht das jetzt nicht aus und dafür nochmal blechen als bezahltes Update? Da hätte man sich lieber fehlenden Enhancement Packs widmen sollen (Class 180, Class 220, Class 166 etc.)

    Naja ich glaube da soll ja noch mehr kommen. Kritisch finde ich, dass der Zustand der Gleise von 2007 auf 2015 geändert wurde. Heißt dass, dass die Infrastruktur noch mehr kaputt gespart wurde oder handelt es sich dabei lediglich um die angesprochenen lückenlos verschweißten Gleise?

    Naja, dass das Update kostenpflichtig sein soll, finde ich jetzt auch auch eher abschreckend. Denn so häufig bin ich dann nun auch wieder nicht auf der Strecke unterwegs, dass mir es wert wäre, für ein paar Verbesserungen nochmal Geld auf den Tisch zu legen. Es ist ja eigentlich toll, dass AP die Strecke aktuell hält, aber der Aufpreis ist mir schon ein Dorn im Auge.


    Was jetzt genau alles verändert wurde, weiß ich nicht. Ich kann nur das zusammentragen, was ich finde. Ob da noch was kommt, neben einer neue Vegetation, neuen Gleisen und Sounds, kann ich auch nicht wirklich beurteilen. Das Streckennetz hat sich ja grundlegend nicht verändert.


    Ich meine mal irgendwo aufgeschnappt zu haben, dass ATS an einer überarbeiteten GEML von Liverpool Street nach Norwich arbeitet, glaube aber, dass das zwei völlig verschiedene Paar Schuhe sind…

    Also keine Gleisänderungen. Die Ubersetzung "Außerdem basiert der Zustand der Gleise nun auf dem Zustand der Strecke im Jahr 2015" ist nicht korrekt. Es geht nur um die verschweißten Gleise.

    Bin gespannt, welche Änderung noch angekündigt werden, denn da soll ja laut Post über die nächsten Tage noch mehr gezeigt werden. Ich mache mir da kein vorschnelles Urteil, falls eine Erweiterung wirklich enthalten sein soll, wie spekuliert wird/wurde (Bittern Line), wäre es eindeutig einen kleinen Betrag wert.

    Tuen sie und hat nichts mit der Strecke von AP zutuen. Alan hat das mal in einem Stream aufgedröselt: Wherry Lines Update von AP ohne irgendwelche neuen Streckenabschnitte. Norwich - Ely als Payware von ATS und Norwich-Liverpool Street Überarbeitung (wie unsere deutschen Deluxe Strecken) als Subware von ATS.
