    Well, first of all the question is asked by nearly everyone. So yall think they keep it as a secret until somebody asks for it? They´ll anounce it when its ready, and not when somebody asks for the release date. Also, they cant just say "oh yeah its coming out on the 27th of october" because it clearly isnt finished yet, and so they dont want to put themselves under stress.
    And last but not least, the Community Manager(s) dont develop the game so they probably know as much as we do at the moment.

    Oh wow the negativity in here again.
    So, why does DTG not provide any information?


    BECAUSE THERE IS NOTHING TO SAY AT THE MOMENT!


    "When will the editor release?" is a very frequent question that gets asked many times. The editor will release when DTG in confident enough that there aren't any big bugs and issues.
    It's normal to keep things secret. Every game company does and why isn't DTG allowed to do that as well?


    Only because there was complete quiet for several months it doesn't mean that nothing is happening.
    It is always the same with this moaning about. No news for a couple of months -> Panic.


    Also, DTG does answer a lot of questions, especially if asked in a private message on the forums or Facebook, for example.

    That's not the point, the release date doesn't matter.
    It's more the lack of communication overall. There is not significant update about the development progress. They announced occasionally information about progress in the developer updates in the past but since weeks nothing.


    To be honest, if you are a community manager and you have no clue about future developments then you in a poor position and it could be the wrong job for you.


    Aber work können auch gern wieder zurück ins Deutsche wechseln. :)

    "Mangelnde Kommunikation". DTG kommuniziert eig. sehr oft mit ihrer Community (siehe TSW Discord Server, und Forum). Ihr meint wohl eher sie würden nicht kommunizieren, weil sie nicht jeden 2. Tag etwas neues ankündigen.

    Discord ist mein eigentlich egal, weil es keine DTG eigene Kommunkationsplatform ist.
    Neuigkeiten sollten als erstes über die unternehmenseigene Platform kommuniziert werden, ansonsten hat sie keine Berechtigung.
    Wenn sie Discord, Twitter oder Facebook nutzen um Neuigkeiten anzukündigen, werden sie nie eine Marktdurchdringung/Akzeptanz der eigenen Homepage/Forum erreichen. Somit sind diese obsolet.
    Ich habe auch keine Lust private Nachrichten an DTG zu schreiben um ein Update zu bekommen. Damit ist die Marktdurchdringung was Information angeht absolut inefficient und Resourcenverschwendung.

    Hä? Wenn ihr so händeringend nach News über xy sucht, dann ist es vorteilhaft nicht nur auf die Händlerseigene Webseite zu gehen, sondern auch auf diversen Social Media Seiten zu suchen. Denn nicht alles muss in einen Artikel reingeschrieben werden. Matt etc. haben z.b im Discord bereits oft Sachen gesagt, die nicht in irgendeinen Artikel stehen. Und sich dann zu beschweren, dass sie ja gar keine News von sich geben würden ist einfach nur komplett idiotisch, und ist mal wieder ein Versuch ein falsches Bild über DTG zu liefern. :thumbdown: Außerdem kenne ich keine Firma die News nur über ihre Webseite verbreitet.

    However for DTG (so for all game developers or simulators), the Steam forums and the Dove Tail Games forum are also a source of information on the mood of the users. From the forums they can know what people want.
    Well, people want the editor more than anything else so the mystery from DTG does nothing but feed the speculation.

    Yep, had the same feeling to your response. Only to say something without a link to the topic.


    One more time, I only arguing with the lack of professional communication of DTG, in my POV.

    Es wurde gerade eben bekannt gegeben dass Ruhr Sieg Nord am 9. Oktober für die Konsolen erscheint. (Xbox One (X), PS4)
