ZitatToday on Train Tuesday we take a look over the latest updates to various routes on Train Simulator 2012. Our team have been working hard to make improvements to Bath Green Park to Templecombe, Newcastle to York and Haagen to Siegen. Over the last few months as part of our continued commitment to improving our products our development team have been taking a long hard look at these three iconic routes and making a number of improvements. These include:
- Addition of dynamic lighting effects
- New lamp assets added to stations to aid illumination
- New skies and weather effects
- Night time weather added
- All scenarios updated to make use of new weather
- Updated Sun/Moon rise/set times to location accurate
- Updated loading screen to include flash carousel if online
- There has also been a number of minor scenery and track updates to all three routes.
Theses updates will go live tonight for free on Steam to all current Train Simulator 2012 users. Simply start Steam and the new updates should start once available.
