Hi, finally it was possible to make a video. How you can see, the performance is very bad, a lot of stuttering and some interruptions. The route is the Great Western Mainline and the train is “King Edward II” with the “Cathedral Express”. I think the route and the train don´t need a lot of recourses. My system is:

@illige da sonst keiner das Problem mit RW Enhancer 2 hat, liegt es vielleicht an einer anderen Software auf deinem Rechner. Vielleicht ein Antivierenprogramm?

Hello illige, by looking at the video performance is quite bad indeed. I would strongly believe that a 3rd party program is conflicting with RWE 2. First have you set an exclusion rule in your anti-virus for both any RWE 2 files and also the whole 'Railworks' installation directory (this is very important) ?

I uninstalled the avast antivirus and the avast cleanup. I think that the avast cleanup was the reason of the stuttering. I don’t know if it is possible to stop temporarily the cleanup. But there is one fact, without RW-Enhancer 2 train simulator works very fine, no stuttering at all. Now with RW-Enhancer all runs with nearly no stutter.

Now RW_Enhancer 2 runs perfectly. My problem was the “Avast clean cleanup premium”. This program uses a lot of the CPU (30% and more) and scans constantly all disks with reading and writing. I uninstalled this program and now the trouble disappeared. From now I can enjoy the fantastic improvements in Train Simulator. Thank you for your great work.

My advice to all... Use the Windows software... Is by far the best and most friendly antivirus software! All other software, Avast and Norton makes your PC slow as hell...

Kann ich nicht bestätigen habe mit Norton keinerlei Probleme . Ok hat aber mit dem Thema nichts zu tun

illige Glad that the issue is solved. Like I said before, RWE 2 under normal conditions and without any external program messing things up should be quite well optimized now and lightweight on performances

The most serious issues reported to me during the last weeks was always caused by anti-virus/security softwares.

Next update is coming very soon to add custom speed signs images according to each countries. (everything is automatic)

More than 14 countries are supported.

Special images will also be displayed when cab signaling (TVM or LZB) is active.

Octopus You can always make a backup and try for yourself. But I don't think the cooked data will be deleted as they are xml files, not temporary files.
