    da der eigentliche Bahnvideos-Thread aus mir völlig unverständlichen Gründen geschlossen wurde, fange ich an dieser Stelle einfach einen Neuen an... ;)

    Anstatt den Zug umzudrehen, damit alle Sitze vorwärts zeigen, drehen sich die Sitze am Endbahnhof.

    UPS, die lieben ja Hochtechnische Dinge, der Wartungsaufwand und das Zusatzgewicht für die Mechanik sind bestimmt nicht ohne.
    Bei uns gabs das ja schon im Rheingold mit Fußraste und gedreht wurde von Hand. Der Schienenbus und der Gläserne Zug hatten Klapplehnen. Bisschen Bodybuilding fürs Zugpersonal.

    Durch Zufall auf Youtube gefunden, Bremstest eines Taurus.Ich hätte echt gedacht das des Teil aus 100kmh einen längeren Bremsweg hat.
    Wenn man bedenkt das die Lok fast 90t Gewicht hat, ist es echt erstaunlich das hier Stahl auf Stahl bremst mit einer Gesamtfläche aller Räder die warscheinlich kleiner ist als die Auflagefläche eines Autoreifens auf der Straße.

    "Markus und die Sprache der Signale" von 1997. Haben wir damals in der Ausbildung geguckt. Hat zwar einen ernsten Hintergrund, aber ist dabei unfreiwillig komisch ;)

    Puh, ich habe mir das jetzt mal angeschaut, und mir wird gleich ganz flau im Magen. Gerade den jüngeren Mitgliedern dieses Forums empfehle ich diesen Film wärmstens. Zum Glück bin ich am Ende der DDR Zeit geboren, da erspart sich mir dieser ganze politische Hintergrund =O
