So N or H0? Having both is more expensive. I have a large HO scale layout. Without saying I regret it (because I have everything in fully digital Märklin), I often think I should have chosen N scale. I have all the digital BR 103s with a minimum of 16 functions (including the 150th anniversary one with 32 functions). ![]()
With HO scale, you can limit yourself to one manufacturer. I've stuck with 90% Märklin and 10% Roco with a Central Station 3. For N scale, I find there's less documentation and no 3-rail solution, which prevents reversing loops.
