I know that this is an old thread, but does the BR103 bought from Steam have LZB?

If i activate PZB (Shift+8) i cannot activate LZB with Shift+6 and i notice that the manual for the BR103 that were purchased from DTG lacks Shift+6 in the Key Layout. Must i buy the BR103 directly from vR to get a working LZB?

    EDIT:
I figured out that i have bort versions installed and that i tried to use the DTG version instead of the vR version. So yes, the DTG version has no LZB while the Vr version have LZB.

I't's scripted. You can't change it.

I noticed that there is a FMTemp value in the 407_0_EW_1.bin file. (Default=0, Minimum=0, Maximum=250.) Can i change the Maximum to a higher value than 250 in all .bin-files or are they overridden by the scripts?

Yes, maybe it was a one time problem. It has never happened before but i would like to prevent it from happen again. :)

This happens when the FMTemp is to high, what normally should not happen with the Velaro at 200kph. I tested the Velaro alot on that route and had no problems with that. Did you use a predefined consist or did you created your own consist? The Velaro only works in the correct way when used as deliverd.

I used a predefinied consist. I am driving from the 1.Kl Endwagon. No AFB. The throttle was around 20kn or 30kn and i am manually pending between the two to running at 200 Km/h.

    • What is FMTemp?
    • Is there a way to manually edit the values so it won´t happen again?

Point me to the file and i can edit it unless it is scripted. I know how to manually edit .bin-files.

    Endwagon

I was driving from Bremen to Osnabreuck with no scheduled stops in between and it happened pretty much in the middle of that route. I will drive the same scenario tomorrow and will write down exactly where it was/is if it happens again.

I just drove the ICE3 on the Bremsten to Meunster route and all of a sudden i got an emergency brake and the word "Stöerung, Stöerung, Stöerung..." until the train stopped from the speaker.

PZB/LZB activated and the LZB showed 200 Km/h and my speed was 200 Km/h and i had no speed restriction within a 11 Km´s.

    Why does this happen?

So, if you are too fast while passing the GPA, you will get a "Zwangsbremsung"(emergency brake).

I noticed the same thing as well and has a question regarding those speed restriction signs:
Since there are magnets placed at those speed limit signs, must i press Page Down to acknowledge them as well even if i meet the speed conditions?

When this first happened to me i thought that happened because i missed to acknowledge them, but when i do nothing happens in the PZB panel in the BR407 Velaro.

It´s a great route and i have just drove through it. It looks great! :)

The only issue so far is LZB that give let´s say 160 and then drops to 0 and after a couple of seconds go back to 160 again and then drops to 0 and after maybe 100-200 meters goes back to 160. Pretty confusing. This happened several times when i drove from Muenster. I cloned the Standard ICE scenario and replaced the ICE 1 with BR407 ICE Velaro so don´t know if it is the Velaro or not yet. Another issue is that a signal can show 60 Km/h at point A but when i pass the signal the speed never changes and stays at let´s say 110 Km/h until i reach the switch, point B, approx hundred meters from the signal, point A. If i pass a signal that tells me that the speed is 40 or 60 i expect that the speed changes at the same time i pass the signal. I saw this issue two or three times.

Apart from that it´s indeed a lovely route and i am sure that a patch will fix those issues soon. :)

I think the problem is, he doesn't even get the "Ende" lamp. So he can't acknowledge the LZB Ende procedure.

Yes i get that part but wanted to share it since i personally only looked in the area were the lamps are, iow the 85/PZB/LZB/Magnets, lamps etc and was sure that i missed it as well. Personally i looked only in that area and missed the white area below were the ENDE actually lights up. :)

Has anyone else had a problem leaving an LZB section. I don't get the "Ende" light, just a Zwangsbremsung straight away.

I have tried both on Frankfurt and Berlin-Leipzig.

    Thanks

When you get the ENDE lamp, press the END key on your keyboard to avoid the Zwangsbremsung. This works for me everytime when the LZB ends. :)

You will see the ENDE in the white area below the PZB/LZB symbols, i missed it as well the first times.

I bought ICE 4 Ultimativ Pack yesterday and have some questions:

    • If i activate only LZB no digits are shown in the speedometer. They do only show up if i activate PZB *and* LZB. Why isn´t the digits shown if only LZB is activated? (See the attached image below)
    • When i start a new scenario/quick drive the brakes are always set to 0 making the train to move uncontrolled unless i manually apply the brake. The brake should be applyed when i start any scenario/quick drive. Why is the brake set to 0 by default?
    • When i start the train the Zugkraft are heavily reduced when the train reaches 50 Km/h. Why?
