Mine is still troublesome as well, won't go into details here. I trust it will be fixed in time ^^

What exactly is the problem? Is it OK that I reinstall the newest BR218 vrot v6 (the newest one dated today - 03/06) over my v5? Or should I hold back?

    Hi Ulf,

but there was an issue with the English version of the BR218 pack V6, right? Was it fixed? Can I safely download the V6 dated Feb 27, 2020 - is the English version alright there?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

this flaw is not part of any particular scenario, it is part of the route itself. I solved it yesterday by deleting the jet plane, it removes the path object too.

I believe this is the solution that should also be implemented officially. The path pbject is huge and is visible very well from the track...it even has a shadow. Who needs jet planes flying high above that you can't see anyway? It's certainly not worth it if it triggers such a terrible bug...

    Hi all,

after the BR218 release I worked on a few fixes of sounds for it. Now with the v5 I've made a few more. I was in touch with Linus about them (and big thanks for his help here!), but the resulting sounds never made it to the official release. The fixes are trying to address:

    - horn choppiness
    - occasional crackling within engine sounds
    - high-pitch noise heard in the cab - this is probably prototypical, but was quite annoying to me, it is a sound of about 10-11 kHz frequency and I could not stand it, so I filtered that out.

I of course cannot release these alterations directly as they are using Linus' (vR's) original sounds/recordings.

    I would like to ask:

1/ As I haven't seen a lot of complaints about sounds (and they are indeed excellent overall!) - do you yourself see what I describe above as a problem and would you like to try out these modifications?

2/ For Ulf and Linus - would you be willing to allow them to be published? It is just a set of updated sounds from the original locomotive. Don't think they would be of any use to anyone not owning the loco. Linus already received some of them.

I created similar fixes for the BR425 where there was some strong crackling especially when you were adding power, really terrible (but again: I didn't see anyone complaining, which is weird!), I will post another message in the relevant BR425 thread when I get to it.

The auxiliary driving lever is there mainly for cases when the train has to go backwards or during slow manoeuvres... during this the driver is looking out of the window for better visibility. Why do you think the lever is located on the right close to the window?

    ;)

Can someone who owns the 5047 please tell me if there is any key binding for the auxiliary driving lever? From the available manual it looks like there is none which is a shame as it makes me wonder how are you supposed to drive this in a head-out or outside view then?

    Thanks!

Did anyone notice this issue in the second scenario of the v2 reloaded? Before the 3rd stop (Schleusfeld) there is a distant signal on amber, but the next main signal is not on red, it is rather totally dark!! However PZB still oprates as if the red was there. I was driving the BR 145 EL - I used it instead of the BR 143 the scenario was originally created for, but I don't believe this should trigger the problem.

    Screenshot attached.

To moderators: I didn't realise I should have probably updated the alerady existing IKB3 topic rather than creating this new one. Please kindly move it there if it is the forum policy. Thanks and my apologies.

UPDATE: No issue during the second run, I believe the problem could have been that I resumed a saved scenario - means one should not be using the save function on this route. Funny part is that I didn't finish even the second run successfully, but it was due to my error this time, I managed to turn off the main switch when brakes were applied, they got stuck, which made me stop in one of the neutral sections. Great job indeed! :D

Did anyone notice that the engine sound's volume in the BR628 sound update was very low and can hardly be heard from the cab (in the 628, not 928 of course). I was trying to make the motorlauf.wav sound louder, but to my surprise it didn't do anything! The Linus' showcase video has the engine sound clearly audible, but it was back in the TS2017 days. Any idea?

EDIT: OK, my bad, I copied the updated WAV into my test directory instead of the Railowrks folder.

However I still wonder why it's so low by default and even when I made it louder now the engine sound gets totally covered by various bogie sounds in higher speeds. Is this realistic?

Does anybody know what is the maximum speed throughout this route? Is it more like 140-160 kph or slower? Or even better - would anyone have the "Buchfahrplan" for the route?

    Thanks a lot!

Excellent scenario, very atmospheric! Would JTG consider creating a whole scenario pack for BR 204 (paid one, of course)?

Or one more advent scenario for BR 204 and hbbills wagons that were on sale yesterday...

Again, big thanks to JTG for this scenario, great job indeed!

    Hi,

I have no idea what was happening... the scenario could be seen even by RWTools, but not by the game. I even made a copy of the scenario in RWTools, the game still could not see it, even in the Build menu there was nothing. I uninstalled and re-installed several times yesterday, to no avail.

Today I cleared the cache - no help. then I reinstalled using the newly downloaded installer, and suddenly it's there. But it could not be data corruption, I just checked MD5s of the installers downloaded yesterday and today - they are the same.

Perhaps clearing the cache and THEN reinstalling did the trick, I don't know. Never had such an issue before.

Anyway, thanks a lot for your help!!!

I just downloaded the new BR204 advent scenario, it's for free, so I'm not complaining in any way...it's just that it's not showing up in the list of scenarios under FrBA (standard, not career section).

I suspect this is due to the fact that all the names inside the scenario seem to be filled in German only, not in English. Is there any plan to release a version that supports English please?

    Thanks a lot.

Unfortunately 3dzug do not describe for each scenario pack what the player locos are, which is quite important for me to choose what packs I want.

Would it be possible to get that information for the following products please?

    https://www.3dzug.de/product_i…extrazeit-vol--16-el.html
    (probably all vR 189)

    https://www.3dzug.de/product_i…_reisezeit-pl--mosel.html

    (425 all of them?)

    https://www.3dzug.de/product_i…zeit-pl--schwarzwald.html

(111 all of them or some use RS1?)

    Thank you very much!

In any case it would be great if 3dzug started to add this info into the pack descriptions.
