I have two copies of TSC, the main one and another for version 75.8a. I use symbolic links from V75.8a to the assets and routes in the main install. You could do similar by moving your assets & route folders to another drive and using symbolic links connecting them to your TSC main install. It is relatively straightforward, unless like me you have two versions of TS.

For fans of real old time railways a new fictional freeware release.
https://www.golden-age-developments.co.uk/gw-levels-1902.html
Great Western Levels 1902 - GWR / LSWR
DESCRIPTION
Great Western Levels (1902) is set in an alternate timeline where the railways in Somerset were built around a GWR mainline from Salisbury to Williton, rather than the Bristol & Exeter line. The route covers around 42 miles of track, with 27 miles of mainline, an 8 mile branch to Bridgwater, and a 5 mile branch to Highbridge. There are also extensive industrial branches totaling up another few miles. The route features the GWR in a transitional period, where the Broad Gauge has been gone for 10 years but it is still decidedly a Victorian railway. Red distant signals, baulk road track, and point signals are indications of the early period in which this route is set. The route is all managed by the GWR, but the LSWR and other companies frequently venture onto it to take advantage of its access to the docks and holiday traffic.

Usually the steam folders are different to the RSSLO direct routes. Which means the community updates will not work. It is unlikely that any updates have been made to the route on steam after release. Updates are rare like hens teeth on steam DLC.

Now Available Scottish West Lowland Route, complimentary to West Highland Way
WLW V1.0www.mediafire.com -
WHW V4.0 to V4.1 Update Patch.
This will fix several issues with tracks and signals causing the game to 'lock up' in some Scenarios. It also installs some updated scenery, trackrules file, Station locations file and some Signal Mods.
We have worked hard to check that all our scenarios will run fault free in the route. But, given that this is TSC and we are only human, there are bound to be some routing/signaling issues we did not find. Please let us know if you run into any problems with the route or its scenarios.
Full instructions are in the 'Readme_1st.txt' file included in the D/L 'WHW V4.0 To V4.1 Patch.zip' file. Please read them and remember to clear the cache before loading up the route.
There are now three scenario packs available for the route and all have been checked and found to run fault free. Please refer to the scenario announcement post for details.

WHW V4.1 Scenario Packs.
We are pleased to announce the release of three - yes three - scenario packs for WHW V4.1. (You will need to run the v4.0 to V4.1 Patch before trying to run these).
Graham Bell, Stewart Parker and Dave Haych have created a grand total of 24 standard scenarios between them. The scenarios have all been tested in V4.1 and they all run fault free.
Grahams Scenarios:
Stewarts Scenarios:
Daves Scenarios:
Enjoy - but let us know if you have any problems.
Note when the download page opens a second page also opens, a normal thing for mediafire, one of these my AV gave a warning for, but dealt with the problem. I was able to download safely

WHW V4.0 Patch 1.
This will fix several issues with tracks and signals causing the game to 'lock up' in some QDs. It also installs updated versions of Stewarts QDs as well as fixing the issue with missing bridge ends and pillars on the Strathern lines.
Full instructions are in the 'Readme_1st.txt' file included in the D/L 'WHW V4.0 Patch 1.zip' file. Please read them and remember to run the install batch file then clear the cache before loading up the route.
Stewarts old QDs will be removed and replaced, they are identified using their individual numbers so no other scenarios will be affected.

WHW East of Crianlarich V4 is now Available. From read me;
Welcome to this latest release of our WHW (West Highland Wandering) project.
V4.0 is a complete reworking of the route with new additions and updates to track, stations, infrastructure and scenery.
The route now comprises The Dunblane, Doune and Callander line from the junction at Dunblane with the Caledonian
Railway's Glasgow to Perth main line, through to its end on junction with the Callander and Oban line at Callender.
The Callander and Oban line from Callander through to Crianlarich Junction where it linked to the West Highland Line.
The Killin Branch Line from its junction with the Callander and Oban line at Killin Junction to the terminus at Loch Tay.
The Lochearnhead, St Fillans and Comrie line from its junction with the Callander and Oban line at Balquhidder Junction
through to its end on junction with the Crieff and Comrie Railway at Comrie.
The Crieff and Comrie line from Comrie through to Crieff and its junctions with the Crieff Junction line and the
Crieff & Methven Junction line.
the Crieff & Methven Junction line from Crieff through to its end on junction with the Perth, Almond Valley & Methven line
at Methven Junction including the Methven Branch line.
V4.0 now includes:
The Crieff Junction line from Crieff through to its junction with the Caledonian Railway's Glasgow to Perth main line
at Gleneagles (Formerly Crieff Junction).
The Perth, Almond Valley and Methven line from Methven Junction through to Almond Valley Junction just north of Perth
on the Caledonian Railway's main line.
The route is basically set in the 1950s - 60s BR period but we have exercised a certain amount of artistic licence by
including stations and track that had actually been closed before that date.
We feel (hope) this increases the operating interest of the route.

jhz37 it is 1190, taken in Amsterdam Centraal. Mid 90's I think.
-
Been a fair while since I last posted here.
Some new sound fitted locos. Pity I can't link to my video, the Hornby steam effect is impressive and uses water instead of messy oil. Accurascale Deltics and Bachmann 37 are particularly impressive as well. Shaky videos on Facebook, threads and Bluesky.
Sound fitted Diesel Pullman at the rear of new Accurascale Mk2c's . The 2b's are in a previous post.
Non-sound locos

If you purchase something it is always available, but subscription items, you are correct you lose access like any other subscription.
Anyway Flirt is now available for an eye watering £37.99, or 29.99 with subscription. Let the complaints begin.
