Schwarzwaldbahner jpvdveer I think the version you are talking about is V4. V5 is recent and there is now a another patch for it. V4 downloads on the left of the page, V5 on the right. May cause confusion.
-
South Lancashire and North Cheshire Phase 5 is now available for download - Phase 5 adds the sections between Warrington and Crewe with the line from Ditton through Runcorn joining at Weaver Junction ( this provides the possibility for through trains between Preston and Liverpool Lime Street to Crewe.....additionally the extensive network of sidings at Weston Point is included. 12 new scenarios are included with the route
The route is now available from Backdated Trainsim - https://backdatedtrainsim.weebly.com/an ... outes.html and will soon be available on Wotawallysbits ( link to follow ).
NB. Existing owners of the route will only need to install the new files, if you have not downloaded the route previously then please first install the previous version ( V4 ) which contains Assets and a batch file which will need to be run to enable several of the reskins to work. -
From UKTS, as I don't have TSW I won't be following this, but this re-post will allow those who are interested to follow the project.
TSW Raildriver And Joystick Interface Released
Hi Heitor and all.
Due to the lack of support for any Joystick in TSW2 and 3, I decided to see if I could rewrite the PieHid64.dll that TSW uses to talk to the Raildriver, and have it talk to both the Raildriver and Joysticks.
This new program “TSW Raildriver & Joystick Interface” is the result.
It allows you to use the Raildriver or a Joystick, including a Arduino configured as a Joystick to control TSW2 and 3 (I haven't tested on 3 as I don't own it). You simply copy a new PieHid64.dll into the TSW binaries folder located in
SteamApps\Common\Train Sim World 2\WindowsNoEditor\TS2Prototype\Binaries\ThirdParty\PieHid\Binaries,
run my program, assign your Joystick levers and buttons to the in game loco levers and buttons (Raildriver will be set automatically if detected), click the "Start Callback" button and run TSW.
You can download both a Quick Start guide and the main program zip file from my dropbox account here
https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/f6cgqlkc ... f5ue2qng72
Consider this the first Beta version although I have tested it to destruction the best I can so hopefully you won't have any problems.
As the program can also have individual lever maps and button maps assigned to each loco I will be writting a full instruction manual over the next week or so to highlight the programs full potential.
Those who have used my version for TS Classic will be very familiar with how the new version work.
I have decided to create a thread on the DTG forum site instead of here on Atomic Systems due to continuing problems accessing the forum.
The new forum is here https://forums.dovetailgames.com/thread ... ace.61440/
Please post any questions there.

Now if this was set in the 70/80's it would be really interesting with the variety of loco's and trains. Modern times, not so much.

This weeks release; £4.99 https://www.armstrongpowerhous…agon/mea-pna-f_wagon_pack
Constructed from the early 1990s to 2004 using existing HEA underframes, 641 MEA wagons in total were produced. Primarily used for the transportation of coal, they have in more recent years been used with a wider variety of loads such as scrap metal and sand. At the time of writing in 2022, these wagons can still be seen in use on the national network.
Using existing TTA underframes, 250 PNA-F wagons were constructed during 1998 & 1999 to assist in the replacement of the existing vacuum braked fleet and could be found on engineers trains. With the arrival of newer wagons in 2008, the wagons fell out of favour with the entire fleet being put into storage at Long Marston by the end of the year. In the mid to late 2010s, they had a brief resurgence with DCRail on ad-hoc workings but by the end of the decade, all were either scrapped or back in store.
What is included?
MEA wagon (4 liveries)
PNA wagon (1 livery)
Weathered variants
Empty/loaded versions with realistic physics
6 loads for MEA wagon (new ballast, spoil, coke, coal, scrap & sand)
4 loads for PNA-F wagon (new ballast, old ballast, spoil & sand)
Prototypical sounds as featured in our Wagon (4 Wheel) Sound Pack
Flashing tail lamp
1 realistic scenario for the JT Midland Mainline route

This weeks release; https://www.armstrongpowerhous…on/mfa-mha-mta_wagon_pack
In the late 1990s, a large number of existing 4-wheeled wagons were rebuilt for use in engineers trains to replace the existing vacuum braked fleet. These consisted of 135 MFAs (cut-down MEAs), 1000+ MHAs (existing HAA underframes with two variants of new body) & 396 MTAs (one variant using existing TTA underframes with new body and another a cut-down version of the MKA with high-ends).
All of these wagon types with their relevant variations are included in this pack. In reality, these wagons are used interchangeably which makes for some varied looking consists.
What is included?
MFA wagon (4 liveries)
MHA wagon (2 variants & 2 liveries)
MTA wagon (2 variants & 2 liveries)
Weathered variants
Empty/loaded versions with realistic physics
3 loads (new ballast, old ballast & sand)
Prototypical sounds as featured in our Wagon (4 Wheel) Sound Pack
Flashing tail lamp
1 realistic scenario for the DTG Portsmouth Direct Line: London Waterloo - Portsmouth route

The TTA wagon was constructed during the 1960s/70s for the transportation of various liquid chemicals and could still be seen in use on the national network as recently as 2021.
Built to many different designs over the years, volume 1 attempts to consolidate the full sized tank variants into one pack with their various colours, branding and ladder arrangements.
Just a few sample pics. Rest are here https://www.facebook.com/armst…7944159/6087504774610944/ click on left side to scroll.

The full version from 2019 is hosted here, but not the lite version, and I am not sure if the full version was the last as was intended at that time. I am on my work laptop, so can't check what I have.

Posted in UKTS, reposted here.
Just to let you all know, due to age/ill health, I will no longer be able to carry out any further changes to TS-Tools. My web site is closing down, and I will probably be moving to Tasmania to live with my daughter once her new home there is ready.
As I don't yet know which ISPs are available out there in the Southern Ocean, I am not sure if my current main email address will still be available, so if anyone needs to contact me direct, use virtualtrains@gmail.com at least that one will not change.
Thanks to all those who have supported/helped me over the last 14 years or so with TS-Tools and even longer with RouteRiter, it has been a great time, but I suppose all good things must end. I will of course keep an eye on these forums for the time being.
Regards to you all, Mike. -

Modern track with rolling stock from an earlier era. Personally would have preferred the era of the route to match the stock they are providing, but somebody may still produce a backdated route if we are lucky.
