Kim_olesen1 I don´t know about any. But it works almost on all routes (depends on the quality of signal scripts). However I have some own ETCS markers and signals, which are not mandatory, but with which some nice additions to the ETCS functionality can be made.

A really nice thing probably interesting only to a few people interested in ETCS.
ETCS can now load national values defined in a text file. What exactly does this mean? ETCS will now behave to those set national values accordingly to the selected country, so in every country small parts (or big parts) of ETCS may behave differently.

Hey guys, sorry for writing in english, I´m not so skilled at German yet.
I needed to take a little break from all the programming stuff I am doing right now (a lot of work on Vectron, but much more of programming for university classes), so I got back to the drawing board (haha ) to do some 3D modelling and texturing. For me, this can also be a great kind of way how to get a good break and clear my head. Don´t worry, Vectron will hopefully be finished very soon - I am quite aware that I am saying this for almost half a year and it drives me mad more than You, believe me. I am not sure whether I have posted it here or not, but the only remaining things are some minor ETCS and SCMT bug fixes and German translation.
To the 187/8 discussion - this is czech class 388 - in Germany probably registered as 188, also known as MS3. There are not many MS3s driving right now, actually the only ones I know about are RJ´s 388.201-215 and CD Cargo´s 388.001-010, probably also a small part of Italian ones. There are a lot of issues with all the testing and approving stuff. But don´t worry, I´ll try to get there all working safety systems that should be there so it should be possible to drive it in almost the same way as Vectron.

Hi guys,
as I´ve mentioned in another thread, this project was mainly done to get a bit of relief from all the hard work still needed to be done on Vectron, but also to try some new things, I haven´t done before.
If You´d like to give it a testing drive, I will surely be glad about it. As I don´t know much about steam locomotives in general, please don´t expect the same scripting quality that You expect from the Vectron. If anyone has any suggestions, tips or bug reports, feel free to suggest them here or to this bug form. I´m still learning a lot with this model.
As it does not come with any manual, here is a short list of some basic tips:
- Compressor valve is a big red wheel in the upper left of the cabin, at default it is turned off.
- Brake controller behaves quite similarly to the Czech Dako BS2 - that means that the most left position is high pressure overcharge position, be aware not to overcharge brake pipe pressure a lot.
- Position and cab lights switches are on the black box on the left side of the roof. Budka stands for cab lights, P and Z switches are for front (locomotive) and back (tender) lights respectively.
- Water injector can be worked only by lever in the cab, however stoking has to be done via opening the firedoors and clicking the F4 interface stoking button (I´m working on this)
- Reverser notch can be controlled via "E" key.

SHBBahn not so much remaining, but the remaining parts are all hard and boring work to do.
- CZ -> DE translation
- Some ETCS bug fixes and ETCS modes
- LZB Ende bug fixes
- SCMT bug fixes
- Double traction indication of second loco´s state
- Window sounds
- Probably some changes in traction engine sounds around 40km/h
- .......and also to write manuals (wouldn´t it be easier to just use original Siemens manual? )
This should be all that I can think of at this moment, hopefully nothing new comes out and it can be released soon.

I´d say so.
I have now managed to make a lot of bugfixes (exams time at uni is finally over, this semester was the biggest pain I have experienced in my 4 years there ).
So to sum it up:
- Some minor exterior model fixes
- AFB in reverse allows only maximum of 40 km/h
- Corrected waking up of Mirel and PZB
- Emergency button brake is now working
- Direct brake can cause emergency brake
- V > 60 km/h, 10s of direct brake usage
- V <= 60 km/h, after 700m traction lock and emergency after 1500m
- Spring brake can be released with minimum of 4.1bar in air reservoir
- Traction block under 6 bar and emergency under 5.5bar in air reservoir
- Added some more failure messages
- Added screen summary of all active failures
- ETCS can wake up safety systems during drive depending on markers. E.g. that means that You can test Mirel at the start of scenario, then drive during ETCS LNTC PZB to the country border and then switch to Mirel without stopping (if it was tested and set up properly in the beginning, otherwise that will result in emergency brake). Also this shouls work for all safety systems currently present.

So what’s left to do?
ETCS bug fixes, ETCS L1 (FS, LS, LS STOP), SCMT bug fixes, Double traction and German translation which due to the number of screens and texts starts to seem like a nightmare 😂

Kal000px , will there be different options for AI use, in order to have the right pantograph up? I have this psychological issue whenever I use a loco as AI in a scenario on a Swiss route and the wrong pantograph (wide instead of narrow slide plate) is up

Digostonx that depends on the trolley voltage. If the voltage is sufficiently high, recuperated current will be split into catenary and EDB resistor. If any current is going to the brake resistor, cooling fans of that resistor will start up.

Thanks for the pings Probably the only thing I need to make it work also with another version is specific messages sent by signals/markers. I suppose that it should work similarly to Rivet´s ZUB, only the messages can be a bit different.
