Can somebody help me with making a loading picture for my route?
I already had a .dds file that I had converted to .TgPcDx but what is the next step is, I do not know. -
You have to create your own RouteBlueprint. In this Blueprint there you can set a path to your tgpcdx-Datei.
You can copy an exisitng RouteBlueprint, maybe the one you already use for your Route.After you have created the RouteBlueprint you change the path to it in the RoutesProperties.xml, which you find in your Routerfolder (...Content/Routes/...)
Code
Alles anzeigen<BlueprintID> <iBlueprintLibrary-cAbsoluteBlueprintID> <BlueprintSetID> <iBlueprintLibrary-cBlueprintSetID> <Provider d:type="cDeltaString">Kuju</Provider> <Product d:type="cDeltaString">RailSimulator</Product> </iBlueprintLibrary-cBlueprintSetID> </BlueprintSetID> <BlueprintID d:type="cDeltaString">TemplateRoutes\HagSieg.xml</BlueprintID> </iBlueprintLibrary-cAbsoluteBlueprintID> </BlueprintID>

Use RW-Tools, there is a tool to insert Startscreen into your Route. Read the help file how to do.
STS -
-
1. Using a paint program such as Paint Shop Pro, make a suitable picture for your route. The picture must be
1024x512 pixels in size, and should be named loading_'your routes name'.dds and must be saved in .dds
format, type DXT1 - ARGB and with 8 mip maps.
2. Then run RW_Tools and select the Route Building Tools\Add Route Loading Picture menu option. You
will be asked for to select your route and to select your picture (which can be saved anywhere).
3. Click OK and the picture will be converted to loading_'your routes name'.TgPcDx and will appear when
you are loading your routeafter I had followed these steps, there appeared two files on my desktop.
loading_'German Route 2'.xml
andloading_'German Route 2'.TgPcDx
must i now make that blueprint? -
Funny, there are two descripions in the Help-File, looking similar.
The basic is a own folder Structure for your TemplateRoutes
E.G.
Please create this:
Assets\Alex\GermanRoute2\TemplateRoutes.
Into this folder please move your two files.
You should rename the loading_German Route 2.xml to GermanRoute2.xml
and the loading_'German Route 2'.TgPcDx to loading_GermanRoute2.TgPcDx
Spaces and ' are not so good in names.
Then edit the GermanRoute2.xml
There is a line for the TextureID.
This line should look after your changes like this:
<TextureID d:type="cDeltaString">Alex\GermanRoute2\TemplateRoutes\[00]loading_GermanRoute2.</TextureID>
And change the names at the beginning of the file to GermanRoute2.
Then save and serz this file to GermanRoute2.bin.
Then edit the RouteProperties.xml of your Route, in the Block TemplateRoutes, looking like the example in this Thread Item 29 or similar
to:
BlueprintID>
<iBlueprintLibrary-cAbsoluteBlueprintID>
<BlueprintSetID>
<iBlueprintLibrary-cBlueprintSetID>
<Provider d:type="cDeltaString">Alex</Provider>
<Product d:type="cDeltaString">GermanRoute2</Product>
</iBlueprintLibrary-cBlueprintSetID>
</BlueprintSetID>
<BlueprintID d:type="cDeltaString">TemplateRoutes\GermanRoute2.xml</BlueprintID>
</iBlueprintLibrary-cAbsoluteBlueprintID>
</BlueprintID>empty the cache and start the Route, Then go into the Editor and Tick in the Object Filter Alex --> GermanRoute2.
Save, Close, Restart the route again.
Then the picture should be shown.

I'm already well, but if I the .bin file have saved, railworks does not start/launch
I have change GermanRoute2.xml to GermanRoute2.bin
-
It is not possible to save a .xml as .bin. You have to use Serz.exe in the railworks folder.
I think there is something wrong.
First picture: this looks like the TGPCDX File. This should only be renamed (without ' and spaces) from loading_'German Route 2'.TgPcDx to loading_GermanRoute2.TgPcDx and nothing to be changed inside the file!
Second Picture:
You do please the following: Copy the modified GermanRoute2.xml into the Railworks folder and move with the mouse the GermanRoute2.xml over the Serz.exe File. Then a GermanRoute2.bin will be created. This one is the working one. Move this file back to the Template folder.
This is what i mean with: You have to serz GermanRoute2.xml to GermanRoute2.bin.
Then it should work.
StS -
I did what you asked, but it still does not work.
I think there is an error in the. bin but what? -

The release of version 1 of my route coming ever closer. But I have a question. Have them in germany also signs like this?
For the Dutch Railways are the signs for temporary speed restrictions when working along the track.
-
yes there are, they are called "Langsamfahrsignale"
http://stellwerke.de/signal/deutsch/lf.html
Lf 1,2 and 3 are for temporary speed restrictions
Lf 1 is placed 1000m ahead of Lf2 and tells the driver to slow down
Lf 2 is placed at the beginning of the Speed limit
Lf 3 marks the end of the speed limit, the driver may accelerate to line speed againLf 4 and 5 are used for small routes, when the trackbed is bed, or a level crossing has to be passed slowly
Lf 4 is placed 1000m ahead of Lf4 and tells the driver to slow down
Lf 5 is placed at the beginning of the Speed limit
in this sign, the end of the Speed Limit is not marked.Lf6 and 7 are used for Signalling a new Line Speed
Lf 6 is placed 1000m ahead of Lf7 and tells the driver to slow downall signals below Lf7 are signals of the former Reichsbahn and are only used in East Germany
