RSSLO routes recommendations

If you want to drive the Taurus, I recommend the Railjet package from Railworks Austria first. It's quite expensive, but it's really great and can be used in a variety of ways. The sheer number of available repaints is really great. The locomotive (including the Railjet car with mobile control car) is very realistic and has a great sound. Way better than the RSSLO-Taurus.

Actually, almost all RSSLO routes have more or less the same quality, all have the same tracks, same vegetation... Only the respective towns/villages and stations are different. Logically. If you like diesel, I can recommend the Allgäubahn. If you want to buy the necessary payware for the Allgäubahn Regenerated (freeware community update, like Hamburg-Hannover Deluxe), you have a wonderful diesel route. Unfortunately, I don't know much about electronic RSSLO routes, so I'll leave that out. But as I said, without updates almost all RSSLO routes look similar, so you'll have to see for yourself what suits you.

when you will use the free upgrades from the forum for the RSSLO-Routes, you should buy the routes direct from RSSLO. Some Steam Routes are not compatible to this free upgrades.

For the Mittenwaldbahn: please note that there are two versions existing - from RSSLO and from DTG. Both has their advantages and disadvantages.

Same for the Südbahn route. But here the DTG version only runs between Gloggnitz and Mürzzuschlag, the RSSLO version is much longer.

The newer routes (Karawankenbahn, Salzburg - Mühldorf, Salzburg - Linz, Salzburg - Saalfelden, Wörgl - Holzkirchen, Wörgl - Saalfelden has a better track laying (smoother) than the older ones, but the "Tirol Austria" or "Arlbergbahn" are nice too.

For the Tauernbahn I recommend to wait, because RSSLO have a update / new extension in planning
