http://www.makingtracks-online…category_id=13&Itemid=122 Making Tracks, primarily known for their very complete MSTS add-ons they have two Railworks coach packs. LMS Stanier Period 3 Coaches, and GWR Collett coaches. Nice models, but you need the Steam Sound Supreme Coach sound pack, because the sounds are poor. These were the first two packs produced by the man who opened Matrix trains, before he started his own brand and site. Coach packs include original livery and two later BR liveries.

New from Steam Sounds Supreme a free upgrade of the DTG West Somerset Railway. This installs as a separate route and has many corrections to the original, which of course is also needed.
http://www.steamsoundssupreme.com/ For those who don't know SST, they make high quality steam sound pack add-ons, often with improved performance and re-skins. They also produce a couple of wagon packs and now they are starting to produce scenario packs also. They will produce a wagon pack and a scenario pack especially for this upgrade. There is also a very special lok included, you should read the manual for more information on this. -

First of all, thanks for your informations and notes (see post #1).
I wish to complement, that the Scottish freeware route which runs from Dundee to Montrose needs al lot of assets from the Phorum peninsula route. This route is unvailable. So this route and the most sceneries all unusable.

@Baw326 If I remember correctly this is not a big problem as it is only the narrow gauge assets that are used to represent the miniature railway at Arbroath. The route should work fine without them, you will just have a few milk bottles on the approach to Arbroath from the south. You may also need to use F2 save and resume to get the scenarios to run, unless you are confident in RWtools to delete the narrow gauge stock.

Another provider of add-ons, known by some here but not I suspect all, is Fastline simulation http://testing.fastline-simulation.co.uk/ . Producers mainly so far of wagon packs, which are very comprehensive and will include all known variants of a particular type of wagon, plus at least 1 but maybe 4 scenarios. They also produce a scenario pack for the east coast mainline, it needs a lot of payware as it tries to be as prototypical as possible. In particular needs a lot of IHH stock, but as DTG release the upgraded models, it should be possible to use these through RW tools. Stock packs cost £3 and the scenario pack £5.

Some nice re-skins for the class 92 here http://www.bluecode.org.uk/reskins-pack/

For those who have the making tracks LMS period 3 coach pack, Matrix trains have released the LMS P3 "Stanier" Extras pack, this can be used as a stand alone pack or to add to the making tracks pack. http://matrixtrains.myminto.co…ms-p3-stanier-extras.aspx It comes with quick drives, but you need the making tracks pack for this. Both packs were created by the same man who is now Matrix trains.

The North Lincolnshire Lines has now been updated, available from it's home site here http://www.lincs-train-sim.co.uk/ The network has grown and now includes some industrial kleinbahn. Check the read me as I expect that extra assets will be needed for the kleinbahn. For help with making scenarios select the co-ordinates tab and the scenario creation tab. Edit, there doesn't appear to be a readme. The Kleinbahn assets are included in the download

New British wagon pack now available from DT http://digitaltraction.co.uk/m…/products/wagon-pack-3-2/

An excellent route available in the workshop is Settle & Carlisle 1975. This is still being expanded by the author
Also on Worksop Darren Porters Edinburgh and Glasgow expansion, and his Portsmouth line extension. -
Currently a 1960's version of the Riviera route is being produced for the workshop. Not released yet, but here are some screenshots http://steamcommunity.com/prof…/screenshots/?appid=24010
Edit: this will no longer be a workshop project as only using DTG assets would be too restrictive -
Available here on this site http://www.suburban-glasgow.org.uk/ a part of the suburban network around Glasgow. There is planned to be six phases to this. It is nicely done, but uses the older catenary. The intention is that it will merge with WCML North. The read-me is a little contradictory as it says that you can install it as either stand alone or merged, but later says that it is only possible as a stand alone route. At present it is only a stand alone route. There are some payware requirements ;
WCML North
WCML Over Shap
Edinburgh to Glasgow
London Faversham High Speed
Plus the UKTS freeware packs which can be downloaded on several other sites.
For the scenarios you need;AP Class 320/321/322
Oovee Class 156 from Steam
The Freeware Class 318 from UKTS along with the Carmine and Cream Reskin

There are so many English freeware creators, but here in Germany there is almost nobody who is able to create free stuff on a high level.
Yes, I know that one might has costs he oder she has to pay if he wanted to create something, but sometimes I wonder how the English people are able to do so... Even if there are DTG-payware addons required.Regards alias203

For those who find Darren Porters site useful he is asking for donations to keep it running. From Facebook;
Donation Drive
Although it is something I very rarely do, I am unfortunately left with no choice.
As many of you may be aware, DPSimulation rely on donations from you, the community in order to help maintain the future of the site and to enable us to continue to provide content.
If you like what we do, or just want to help out the site, please consider making a donation of any amount, however small. Paypal donation buttons can be found on both the blog, and main site at http://www.dpsimulation.org.uk/
As an extra incentive, all users that donate £4 or more will also receive a copy of the next scenario pack, based on the South London Network. This is due to be released within the next 7-10 days.
Thanks once again for your continued support.
