I am using Win7 for TS2017 and other stuff here at home, Win10 using at work... but personal i dont like Win10.

That means most of the time TS wants more as 3300mb memory, then the 32bit TS program crashes.
Type Tempdump fehler in the right upper corner "aktuelles forum durchsuchen" then you get pages of info...

- i have split my TS installation in 3 : DB/OBB/SBB, UK and USA/CA. This is a bit longer to handle but it avoid loading or having Rolling stock which will never run togather (yes, I'am a bit crazy from time to time).
I did this too, i have 3 routes directories: Routes_eu, Routes_uk and Routes_us.
