Tolles Pack, gerde die neuen Güterwagen machen richtig Laune! Leider sind die Reisezugwagen (Fernverkehr) viel zu schwer. Mit der VR101 samt 9 Wagons schafft man auf gerader Strecke nicht mehr als 180 km/h, was eigentlich schade ist, da man die volle Geschwindigkeit nie richtig ausfahren kann.

Extract in a temp location, remove the cabview folder if you enjoy the default one then copy in the Assets folder.

Ich freute mich auf eine Re 460, da diese Trainworx nicht zufriedenstellend waren. Das von RivetGame ist ein Erfolg auf der Ebene von 3D und Texturen, aber eine Katastrophe für alles andere. Ich habe (naiv sicherlich) viel auf das Update von TrainworX gewartet, aber es liegt immer noch weit unter meinen Erwartungen. Ich hätte auch nicht gedacht, dass ich für ein kleines Update und Fehlerbehebungen bezahlen müsste. Die schlechte Qualität ist für Produkte aus dem Jahr 2015, die 2019 recycelt und weiterverkauft wurden, inakzeptabel. Es gibt kostenlose Produkte von viel besserer Qualität wie den Skoda 109 E.
Wenn ich über Steam gekauft hätte, hätte ich sofort um eine Rückerstattung gebeten.@Norweger : Ich weiß es nicht und ich werde keine Minute damit verbringen, etwas an diesem Addon zu reparieren. Es ist schon aus meiner SSD...

5 € in den Mülleimer ! Ich habe das * neue * Re 460 Lokpack gekauft. Welcher Irrtum und welcher Schrecken. 3D ist aus einem anderen Zeitalter mit immer den gleichen Annäherungen wie beim Modell 2015. Texturen sind für einen so mittelmäßigen Effekt immer noch so groß. Im Gegensatz zu dem, was im Video der Website gezeigt wird, sind die Windschutzscheiben dieser Version nicht verwittert. Von innen scheint es nicht einmal glas zu geben. Abgesehen von einigen Gadgets für den Gotthard gibt es nichts Neues. Noch immer keine Sonnenschirme oder realistische Texturen in der Kabine. Die Kabine bleibt eine schlechte Mischung aus Textur und Fototexturen. Wenn Sie bereits die alte Re460 haben (die nicht aktualisiert wurde), kaufen Sie diese * neue * Version nicht. Es würde sich 2x auszahlen, ein Addon blieb so mittelmäßig wie im Jahr 2015. Diese Re 460 sind gut für KI-Züge. Bei den guten Sachen funktioniert der AFB endlich richtig und die Sounds sind besser als beim RivetGame-Modell.Trainworx signature is "It's not about perfection, it's about progress". But it's just about neither. It's more about mercantilism...
Achtung: Jetzt kostet das Ding 15 € und ist diesen Preis absolut nicht wert.

After crossing 3 times all the canadian moutains (and some fix accoring to my likes), I have to news :
The good one : this engine is a real master piece. I never enjoy so much an engine in TS. She is the best engine I ever drive in this game.


The very bad one : due to the poor sales, it looks like there will be no more developpement from searchlight simulations.


I'am very sad to read that such a great product is such unknow. I have to create a topic un french forum to tell about...
I don't have time to translate my french review but I would like to share how great is this AC4400 :

Kein Treiber und fehlende Fenster in der Außenansicht, zu diesem Preis ist es nicht berechtigt!
Im übrigen ist die Lokomotive wirklich toll mit viel (zu viel?) An Ausstattung. Es gibt 65 Seiten im Handbuch zu lesen, also sollte es sehr interessant sein. 

Es gibt viele animierte Objekte. Auf dem Bild arbeite ich, um einen Fahrer zu setzen. Ich werde auch Ansichten in der Kabine hinzufügen.
EDIT : Fixed Windows ! Driver added. Cabviews set ! Let's drive...

Hallo aus österreich ! Die Semmeringbahn ist aufregender zu fahren als der Gotthard... Es ist auch eine Gelegenheit, den OBB 1144 mit der neuen Windschutzscheibe zu verwenden.

This engine is a Dutch Traxx bluid to run in sandwich or dual unit mode not a generic Traxx. It's clear... I own it since day 0. Chris was talking about a German version with PZB but it never comes... So I forget about this engine due to lack of ETCS routes (and I have 0 interest in NL trains/routes).
In august 2019, the Gotthard route comes to life with a "kuju" RE 460. The route is nice and have ETCS in real life. So I got this Traxx back on track, make it more international...Pro :
+ Excellent geometry and texture (external and internal).
+ Atmosphere of the cabin is very nice.
+ Very good implementation of ETCS : it works flawless in any route.
+ Some stuff are easy to mod.
+ Extensible inputmapper (except for battery switch).
+ Possibility to create a cold start (battery, panto selection, safty system, panto up, main switch, handbrake).
+ Good physics.
+ Lights with high beam.
+ 3 speeds wipers.
+ Rollos.
+ DCR repaint pack.Neutral :
= External sound (too silent).
= Horns are a bit weak.
= Gotthard is a very nice place for dual Traxx !!!Cons :
- A too deep implementation of the multiple units mode (600 kN and 300 kN) hard coded and so very hard to mod into a single unit (need script access).
- About half power/braking with AFB.
- As German PZB Traxx never comes, a single unit Traxx (300/150 kN and no AFB power reduction) could have been made.I drive my modded Traxx on Gotthard route for hours. It's higly enjoyable. I am very satisfied with my modded engine. But, I am also disappointed that Chris has not given any news of a PZB version and has never offered at least a slightly more generic version to ride in single.

The easy solution : paste the class186_cab_displays_nm.TgPcDx from Texture to Cab_CH, Cab_FR, SNCB and SNCF.
The flexible solution : edit the class186_cab_displays_nm.TgPcDx texture and make your own mix... If you have a closer look at the texture, you will see that there are different area to edit to achieve what I made.The texture class186_cab_displays2_nm.TgPcDx handle the left screen when you enter the AFB menu. It also handle the flags/voltage of the main display when entering the setup...
So to achieve a full custom cab, there are two files to edit in several area. And to do the full job, it should be done for the nm texture (HQ) and the nmc textures (compressed) for all localised Cab.
I have no plan for such updates.

Yesterday, I have a look at the Gothard's QS.
There are two ways to deal with QD and Preload.
1/ You set all your preload with the same consisttype (IE : eConsistTypePassengerIntercity) and in spawn point, you set 100% of the choosen type
2/ You set the *right* consisttype to your preloads and for each spawn point, you choose some times of consists ?For my own, I try to use the right consisttype but many type are missing. Seacrhcing about this lead me to this topic :
Standardisierung von Zugverbandstypen ("ConsistType") in QuickDrivesI would nice to have a king of *normalisation* for consists... Custom types 2 to 8 are free and can be used for car transportation.

I can edit the other textures to preserve the other modifications made by DCR and just change the left MDF part. I think there is 4 or 5 textures to edit.
There is also a second possible reason : the graphic settings. I have only rework the HQ texture.
PS : I use a few repaints form the DCR pack (only some RailPool, SNCB/NMBS, SBB, MRCE, Captrain and Lokomotion). I have set the NMBS cab for all of them.

The night display for left MFD only works for engine with the NMBS cab. The repaint pack add other cabs like FR and CH. They have their onw folder and their own texture modified by the modder. I'am at office for now, so I cannot check folder structure.

The CT Traxx 186 have a nice implementation of ETCS and is well fited to drive on the new Gothard route. Since I find the Riveter Game RE 460 much too simplistic for my taste with a far too basic ETCS, I decided to upgrade the CT Traxx according to my préférences.
The upgrade includes :
- Dark external windows and cab
- Internal weathered windshiled
- Textures that tries to reduce the effect UM in the displays (CT Traxx is hard build for NM UM units)
- Textures with more international flags/voltages (DE, AT, CH, IT, BE and NL)
- Full Inputmapper (panto selection, safety train selection, AFB on/off, *vR brakes*)
- vR cab views
- Reduced tail light red illuminationThe upgrade can not fix :
- Half power with AFB (but you can switch AFB on/off on fly)
- Half braking display
- Wrong voltage for CH on the left MFD
- Wrong panth for 25 kV BelgiumNot included :
- Handbrake on by default : edit the engine .bin file, found handbrake and set default value to 1
- Cold start : defined from the engine number in the DCSV file
- Default panto : defined from the engine number in the DCSV file
You can do it yourself according to your wish.Here is how I use my Traxx 186 Railpool.
1/ Cold start with 00 in the DSCV file (00_918061861418) or by changing the engine number in a scenario. With 16_918061861418, the engine is started with CH pantograph up (seen manual for more).2/ Use Shift-B to turn battery ON (after many tries, I can not find a way to turn it off with the inputmapper).
EDIT : Battery control did not work properly each time with inputmapper. Please use the mouse if it fails.3/ Press 0 to display safety and voltage selection.
Use F and Shift-F to cycle voltages (it's a fictive selection but it uses the right panto (except BE), I did not find a better set of countries/voltages)
Crtl + Shift + I : isolation (no safety)
Crtl + Shift + A : ATB (I never use this mode)
Crtl + Shift + E : ETCS (If battery was OFF, ETCS is in SR mode so take care not to go over 40 Km/h)
Note : Safety changes only work when engin did not move.
NumPad + Enter : validate selection
Press 0 to have the km/h and kN display back4/ Press O for main switch (it will rise pantho)
Press / to release handbrake (I change the default value in the engine .bin file). In any other way, you don't have to do it.
Set direction, release brakes.
If battery was of, ETCS is in SR mode. After 100 m, it will display : Track ahead free ? Press PageDown to confirm (I hate clicking on screen !)5/ Let's drive !
ETCS is active and running.
Shift-A allow to enable/disable AFB any time you want.
F / Shift-F allow to change pantho on fly
0 switch the right part on the central MFD any time.
Ctrl + Shift + H : increase head light (I don't know if it was in the original inputmapper or if I had it)
Ctrl + H : reduce head lightThe vR views... The left MFD is in night mode because I found the day mode too bright for me. It's a texture mod, it's not possible to switch like in vR engine.
There are *bugs* or irrealistics things that I cannot fix because they are hard coded in the script. Editing textures also not fix them...

Wow! It´s awesome that this already ggod locomotive gets the last few Bugs coorrected by you!! I hope you will share that beauty with us

I don´t know how it is in real live but could you maybe also check about the acceleration behaviour when the AFB is enabled. Sometimes, especially with long trains, that gets a little bit annoyingI will share. But I can't fix underpowered and underbraking with AFB nor conception for 2 units.
