Today DTG Alex says:
"Good morning folks,
This week we don't have any streams for RFTV on Dovetail channels, the reason for this is a mix of staff holidays and our team's finalising efforts for the upcoming Dovetail Direct: Train Sim World announcement on August 22nd (in only 8 days!)".
It is better to take shelter in the cellar.
The detonation could be of an unprecedented power... ![]()
The (nervous) wait for the big (?) announcement causes digressions of all kinds. ![]()

I don't want to spoil anyone's day, but I think most of the hopes, for example pages and pages of "dreams" that can be read in the DTG forum, are just chimeras.
The new (or allegedly new) TSW has already been planned for months and therefore the final product is already finished.
The only "obstacle" is the time that is still missing for marketing.
Let's say that for me this is a hindrance, since (logically for commercial reasons) DTG will not anticipate anything (not even a poor teaser) of what will happen in August/September.
In case the TSW was upset, who would ever buy an addon for a boiled game (speculation)?
Meanwhile (for those who love American trains), the SkyHook livery collection is available now.
Edit:
later on Steam.
The DTG forum does not represent all TSW users.
Most of the discussions are said and repeated by the usual small group (even a little frustrated).
You are not obligated to own a video game and at the same time be a member of the relative forum.
I would agree if DTG charged for upgrades of old routes to the TSW3 standard.
At this point his Forum would explode.
What some users just fail to understand is that what was previously purchased was accepted as it was.
A car bought 6 years ago cannot be expected to be equipped with the latest technology.
Yes, it comes from Sky Hook.
So it is probable that it was already scheduled for August 10th (and therefore before the "fateful" August 22nd) and could no longer be derogated from.
Yes, no need for TSW 4.
However, the news on August 22 seems quite important (at least according to Dovetail Games)
Out August 10th, for TSW 3.
So no TSW 4?
The matter gets confused. ![]()
On the last pages of the manuals of each product (for example a car), it says:
"the company reserves the right to modify the models and versions described in the purchase contract at any time for technical and commercial reasons".
We live in the world of consumerism and continuous innovation...
According to some rumors, DTG may have updated the old courses with TSW 3 standards and landscape improvements.
All this with paid and optional packages (if you don't want it, you stay with the original routes).
However, this all sounds a bit sci-fi. ![]()
I think it refers to the famous sign on the Niddertalbahn route (BaWü).
But I don't know if that means anything.
Unless DTG wants to commit suicide, I don't see why they should exclude Germany.
die Entäuschung wider groß.
For me certainly not.
I already like the TSW 3 as it is.
Something big, for sure. ![]()
Man bräuchte das System vom TSC.
TSW 4 (or what comes), last chance.
Exclude the amazing videos and images with which the developers of UE 5 advertise their graphics engine (it is the same for every little improvement), and judge
"SubwaySim Hamburg" which is developed with UE 5.
Has anyone noticed an abysmal difference from the previous EU?
