For the antivirus - I've been working on this today. The installation system I use has three different ways to compress the files. ZLIB, BZIP2 and LZMA. The antivirus programs are being "alerted" by the compression system.
Of course I chose to use BZIP2 which is a compromise between file size and compression speed. And of course that gives 5 false positives.
    ZLIB gives 2.
    LZMA gives 1.

IF you are having problems with antivirus not letting you download or install the file, send me a ticket to my helpdesk and I have installers built with the other two compressions that you can try. So far the LZMA version seems to be the most promising.

So ist wohl eine CBC Version nicht möglich. Um das Seitenfenster des Fst und die Schrägen vom Fensterrahmen werden rot, wenn ich die fetten roten Balken dranpinsel. *denk*

Achso ja, getestet an der SB2 Version.

You should be able to get what you want. The front window frames are in a different part of the texture. The RED ring in this picture is the front window frames. The YELLOW ring is the "inside" frames. Are you using the paint templates from my site ?

Also, in case you want to use the BSI coupler (for those who do not know):

For the BSI coupler, with RWTools, open this file :
    \Assets\ChrisTrains\RailSimulator\RailVehicles\DMUs\Stadler RS1\Wagons\Version SB\RS1 SB.bin

Near the top you will see the reference to the Scharfenberg coupler: this will appear in two places:
    <BlueprintID d:type="cDeltaString">RailVehicles\DMUs\Stadler RS1\Coupler\scharfenberg coupling.xml</BlueprintID>

    Change that to:
    <BlueprintID d:type="cDeltaString">RailVehicles\DMUs\Stadler RS1\Coupler\BSI coupling.xml</BlueprintID>

And save the file. The Seebergbahn version will now have the BSI coupler :)

@BkBtMarcel for the Agilis version, I deliberately cut the polygons in the model because I knew someone would repaint this version. If you look at the picture here, you can see the wireframe cut in the front for the curve at the bottom where the paint goes from grey to yellow. Also you can see where this is in the paint template. If you're careful with the repaint, you should be able to get a nice "sharp" line between the grey and yellow paint that has a nice curve at the bottom.

Richtig geiler zug ich habe eine zweier version gemacht aber wenn ich aus dem fenster schaue.Schaue ich aus dem 2.wagen ist das nur bei mir so oder bei euch auch? aber trozdem NOTE:1 *perfekt*

Really horny train I have made a two version but when I look out of the window. I look out of the second car is only with me so or with you also? but trozdem NOTE: 1 * perfect

I think this a peculiarity of the game. I assume you're talking about the shadow. When you are in the passenger view, the "outside" of the train is turned off. For something like the Flirt 3, only one of the wagons has a passenger view so all the other ones use their "outside" model, so you see a shadow. For the RS1, every wagon *could* have a passenger view because they're all the same, so the game turns off the "outside" model and suddenly you have no shadow, only the fake shadow I have to put in the "inside" view.
For things like this I always say "because it's Train Simulator" :D

    @ChrisTrains
But would it then not make sense to include a sound-modder into the team ?
Because i think it´s much easier to create a good sound from the beginning ( in coordination with the scripts ), than replacing and overwriting an existing sound.

It becomes complex adding people - payments, costs, who gets how much money etc. Then I also become an employer which changes my tax status. Right now I'm "sole proprietor" meaning a much simpler tax system for me here in America :D

Anyway - if I got everything perfect, what would the modders do? :D

    Guys - I'm awake :)

Correct - the retarder is just sound. You can modify the engine sound blueprint to reduce it or remove it if you don't like it.

You all know I'm a one-man-band. I do the graphics, sound, scripts, documents, testing, marketing, support etc, and I love the support I get from everyone, so hopefully you'll excuse me when my weak point (sound) comes up. I do try - really I do - but it's just always a weak point for me :)

There will no doubt be new paint and new sounds pretty quickly - the German (and Dutch) players are always really creative for modifying the models.

There is one really important thing I need to let you know - with everything else that happens during a release there was a miscommunication with JustTrains. You might have noticed their price was a little bit cheaper than all the other stores. If you picked up the train at that price, congratulations! I think tonight the price will be corrected to match RailTraction, Aerosoft, Signalsoft and Treinpunt. It's still a good value - I believe - and I hope you agree. I apologise for the pricing problem but hopefully you all understand by now that this isn't something "suspicious" or malicious. I'm just trying to make sure all the stores have similar competition.

So finally - thanks to everyone who has bought it and is playing with it - it's nice for me to finally see it being used by more than 5 people :)

Very nice train, a must-have-addon for diesel-fans like me. But I don't like the Sound. It sounds like one pitched soundfile through all revs, because of the loud treble in it. Perhaps it would be better to extract the base-sound from the file and pitch that, and make a non pitched rattling overlay sound. I dont't know if the very simple sound engine of TS would be able to handle this...

Sound is always difficult to do - getting 'clean' reference sounds is nearly impossible. And you're right, the TS audio engine isn't great for sounds either.
The engine sound for this is two or three different sounds that blend at different speeds and throttle amounts. The turbo whine, the low and high idle - they're all separate sounds that pitch and blend together to make the final. There's also rail noise and other things.
I can keep all the people happy some of the time, and some of the people happy all of the time. But I can't keep all the people happy all of the time :D

Something else : I have included the IVECO engine sounds too but they're not used in the model. Like the BSI coupler, I include it in the folders for people to use for modification later :)
The paint kits are also now on my support site - http://www.christrains.com/hel…wledgebase.php?category=7

I have made the part of the nose around the window with curved polygons that are slightly separated in the paint template. This means it should be easy to do an Agilis-type paint with a 'clean' curve around the front.

The red needle can be either the brake line pressure or the reservoir pressure. It seems to depend on the company/operator. I've seen both but I've seen more where it is reservoir pressure so that is what it is in this model. It drops slowly as the brakes are used and when it hits 8.5, the compressor comes on and tops the reservoir up. :)

Lets put it this way - at this point it's not changing before release :D
