Truth be told, your release time is scheduled for 8am CET, time that no-one is using at the moment. All central Europe is on CEST (Central European Summer Time) and if it's true what I see on your counter, it will actually be released 9am current time in Germany, which is (again) CEST. Change to CET will take place by the end of October.

Just out of curiosity - what's your time zone? If it's really scheduled for midnight your local time, it's either PDT or your counter is wrong.

Understand, Chris (regarding the sound inside). Perhaps even different units sound differently.

Fantastic! Just have three remarks:

1 - Not sure if it's the video encoding, but see a slight tint in the cab, although Chris said there would be none. But no, I don't want to start the grey tint debate again, if it is there and I don't like it, I'll fix it. Period.
2 - The cab view looks a little bit too high. When I was in the RS1 cab, I think it was lower, but the seat can be adjusted probably so it could depend on the driver. But again, easily adjustable in the config files.
3 - The outside sound is good, the inside, not sure. Think in reality it is quieter, the engine's grumbling is not that apparent as in the video. But truth be told, I like when I hear my engine

No offence was meant, folks. The pictures of the RS1 on Wutachtalbahn look great!

Just out of curiosity - how do you Chris prevent someone from using an add-on they already have? Only steam can do that with DLCs published there as far as I know...

So apparently some (beta-testers) are already boasting about how they drive their RS1 on the Wutachtalbahn... so unfair!

I hoped both products could be released at the same time, without the RS1 I'm probably going to hold myself back and not get Wutach at this time...

So this means still more than a week to release; this is a real torture! The Spanish inquisition were losers compared to you, Chris!

thank you for your answer. So you, under the very same conditions (say, quickdrive using the same route and the same place, cab view, looking directly ahead), get the same fps with Flirt as you do with vR EL stock?

I need to see what my main computer will show.

Today I was using a PC in my second house that is considerably less powerful than my main one and I discovered an "issue" with the Flirt 3 - it is giving me significantly less FPS in the cab than other locos like vR EL (101 and others) etc. it is roughly 5-10 fps down. I think it probably happens on my main PC as well, but I lock my FPS at 30 so it just never gets below that value there.

Do others observe this too? What could be the reason the Flirt is so demanding (more than vR's EL products)?

I second that. If this is not implemented, I can't say I'll be disappointed, but this feature is certainly nice to have.
