    Hi,

the route upgrade looks stunning indeed!

A few questions though if I may:

1/ from the previous discussions it seems that the planned required payware is - Ko-Vi, Fr-Ba, Thomson's Albula, IKB3 (Reloaded). Is it really all? Would like to know now to take advantage of the Steam sale if needed.

2/ for Fr-Ba - the steam version is OK?

3/ The upgrade is applicable to the RSSLO version of Allgaubahn, correct?

    Thanks a lot!

    Ulf,

should not the download counter be reset when a new update is released? Not that I would need it now, just used 1 so far for v1, but if there's multiple updates and a few download fails one may run out of them rather easily...

Great sounds, however, the horn is really tragic... looking at its file structure I believe it was a bit overdone... a simple file with an inside loop would provide smoother playback I believe. Just my two cents.

No offence meant, Linus did a great job here overall, no doubt about it.

What do you think about this horn, gents? It's my quick attempt, using a different sound source (I am not sharing the sounds from the vR pack!). The only thing I had to pack with it was the updated proxyxml file, that is pretty generic so I hope that vR/Linus will be OK with this.

Please be advised it is definitely not perfect and I'm using the same sound for both inside and outside.

To install just copy over the content of the zip into your Railworks folder, don't forget to backup your /Assets/virtualRailroads/vR_BR218_VRot/Audio/Horn/ folder before that or just be ready to re-install the pack if you want to go back to the original sound.

Very good loco, not sure if the driving behaviour is prototypical, but I like it; great sounds. When Maik left I feared this could be the end of vR... glad to see I was wrong...

@jstange The loops themselves should loop perfectly. It can however still happen that the simualtor stops a loop due to a certain condition which might be heard as crackling. Nothing i can do about that. But in general you should not have any issues

Thanks a lot! So are we close to the release - if the information can be disclosed at this time? ;)

    Hi all,

I don't know what is known to people here and what is not, but please look at the uktrainsim forum's TS General Discussion section, maybe those who expect this action was initiated to create an improved version of the shop to provide a better service for the customers will find a possible simpler reason why this had to be done and why it had to be done so fast. I just stress again the word _possible_ as it is of course just speculation based on a rather important fact posted there by Maik.

    Looks really great!

I have one proposal for Rodachtalbahn though... have your ever thought of/considered adding joint sounds? Think it would add a lot to the atmosphere of driving on this beauty...

Thanks a lot for your answer. Well, DTG could have found the issue with (some) AMD cards during their testing, it's really a total freeze of the game, unlike anything else you usually encounter (with dumps left behind) and may have required vR and the team to fix it prior to publiching it. This is the reason why I thought it could have been fixed in the steam version. So you think this is not the case, right?

Generally, given what I saw, I don't believe the problem was with any specific asset, I tried to replace the troublesome parts of those forrests with several other assets (even things like chairs if I recall correctly :) ) but to no avail. Therefore the problem was more in the _number_ of assets rather than their specific type.

    Hello,

after the release of the K-V route I discovered the route was making the TS freeze in some places (forrest close to Immendingen) with my old AMD graphics card. As I still have that card in an older PC I still use at one place, I wonder...is there a chance the steam version could have this fixed? It was announced upon release that there were some "scenery updates"...

I was able to fix the issue myself by deleting some offending scenery but if I could have it fixed without the scenery deleted would be great...

I know that the route creators (Prelli?) show up here from time to time so perhaps they could shed some light into this... Thanks a lot!

    Hello Chris,

is there still a chance you'd consider adding new RS1 configurations, namely a combination of the Seebergbahn 2 external look (with the destination board below the front window) with the DB Zugbus seating setup?

    Thank you very much!

    Hello,

I bought the Verkehrspack on Dec 24, but ran the installer only now. It seems to require a serial number that I did not get via any channel (e-mail, the seriennummer field in the order under my account is empty). I already wrote to 3dzug, but still better want to ask here - is there any other place where the serial number could be found that I could have overlooked?

    Thanks a lot!
