    @tom87 The workshop version is now out of date, it which made with only default assets. Darren Porter the creator has another version on his website he has created in Which custom assets. Access to the current download is here http://www.dpsimulation.org.uk/routes.html#RoutesECMLNE . The route is quietly being developed, some like myself have early access to the latest version of the route, but Darren is no longer accepting application for this. I am not sure how much difference there is between the two versions, but obviously Periodically the early action version goes live and Becomes the latest download on the above page. Incidentally Darren originally worked for JT on Newcastle-York Modern.

    This has now been updated, same download link. I have also been given permission to upload it to this site. I am currently seeing if I can arrange a translation to make it more accessible to all users of the site. The documents will be translated over the weekend courtesy of RalfK. Once I have them I will upload the interface package to this site.

    I have spoken with DT recently, they might be interested in a German dampflok, but they would need a lot of help with research as the team does not speak German, although one intends to learn. I think realistically this probably would not happen before the new sim engine, if at all, but who knows, and of course sounds would likely come from Steam Sounds Supreme. A pipe dream at the moment, but not impossible. Beekay is doing well, but producing a lok in TS takes a long time, so there is room for another producer without conflict, especially as VR specialise in diesel and electric.

    @kiter I have Both the old and the new 319/325 325 pack pack. The sounds in the new pack are much improved, together with the improved functions on and physics, for me it is as we say a "no brainer" to purchase the new pack. No doubt there will be a sale at Christmas time, but I did think even at full price it is worth while.

    @LOELI12 the behaviour of the throttle is designed to simulate the steam chest that a real steam loco has. It is maybe a little bit too much with this loco, but in real life a steam loco does not respond quickly to the throttle being closed. You can disable this simulation and go back to the normal DTG version by pressing Key B.

    Wit the new Nvidia drivers and control panel it is Possible to make a big improvement in the graphics if your graphics card is capable. Using the Nvidia control panel set antialiasing -FXXA to on, set antialiasing mode to overide any application setting. Set atialiasing setting to 32x CSSA. Select and tick all boxes DSR Factors, this will enable your graphics card to run at much higher resolution Which is then scaled down for your monitor. Set DSR Smoothness to 33%. Save and go into TS21014, switch off in-game antialiasing, you will find you are now able to select a much higher resolution did. I am running 3840 x 2160 using a Geforce GTX 760 on a 1920 x 1080 monitor, this is the maximum in game setting for me, and I am getting much better and smoother frame rates and a clearer image. Not what you would expect but It Seems to work. If you have a different video card and monitor then You may need to try other resolutions, You may also need to lock the vertical sync with some cards as well. This was Discovered by SMARTY2 over on UKTs.

    If "Evening Star" does not come in the market place, you can be sure that there will be a freeware re-skin, probably both. The loco is well known and very popular in Britain. In the 80's she was a popular guest at many loco depot open days, I saw her often at these.

    A message regarding the results of the survey copied from the DT facebook page.

    Thanks for all the feed back on the survey. As a result from today we are proposing the Following features for our items. Locos will be Either standard or advanced (Probably with some marketing name TBA). Some older items' may be upgraded at cost. We are keeping our options open: because some types have very little information on them and werewolf scrapped decades ago, THEREFORE a 'standard loco' would be more Appropriate. STANDARD LOCO £ 9.99 • Changeable Head Codes • Reverser Lock • Opening windows • Dynamic smoke • 3D firebox and coal • multiview • Custom sound • Rain effects • Particle Effects: Cylinder cocks, whistle, sanders, Injector, wheel slip sparks, safety valves • Free scenarios (separate download) • Manual ADVANCED LOCO £ 14.99 As above plus • Extra liveries weathered and non-weathered • Head Boards (if applicable) • Extra stock (goods or passenger as applicable) • Carriage lighting / steam heating / boards (if applicable) • Goods heating (if applicable) • Carriage and goods stock opening doors and interiors / loads • Steam chest simulation • Snifting valve effects • Animated brakes and spark effect • Cylinder cock Management / Advanced animation • 3d nameplates changeable by number • Advanced brake Ejectors • reverse slip • Advanced dampers • Advanced water levels • Priming • Sanding levels • Advanced wheeslip effects DEPENDING ON time of day / season • Tender handbrake and water levels (if applicable) • Steam heat • Large selection of "quick drive" Consists • At least 4 scenarios (including one demo scenario) • Advanced loco lighting, Including interior lights or bardic lamp • One unique feature by loco TBA Most stock will be included with locos but some stock will be separate, priced £ 4.99 with free scenarios. (Separate download)

    Now updated.Post with details courtesy of UKTS;
    I have released v1.01 http://www.trainsimdev.com/for…php?view=detail&df_id=124 which fixes the following: TS2015 Raildriver Interface1. Added option to select the location of your Railworks folder due to an error in the railworks installation program not updating the registry properly. This can happen if you install Railworks anywhere other than the default location.2. Hide the buttons in the calibrate Raildriver form to prevent users trying to calibrate the buttons as well as the levers when it's only necessary to do the levers and lighs/wiper switches..3. Updated the engine script location documents in respect to the class 166 which due to yet another inconsistency in Railworks needs the engine simulation script and not the engine script edited with the Engine Script Editor.4. Added the option to turn the Speaker on/off on the Raildriver (untested).Engine Script Editor1. On the wise suggestion of Jim (Nobkins) at TrainsimDev.com, I have ammended the Engine Script Editor to append .rdbak instead of .bak to the end of the renamed engine script files just in case there are other backup files in the railworks folder you wish to delete without deleting the original engine script files by mistake. Don't worry if you have edited your files already, they will still work, just be careful if deleteing .bak files.Engine Script Locations pdf/doc1. Again thanks to Jim (Nobkins) he found that the Class 166 does not work if you edit the engine script files I suggested in the pdf/doc.Instead I found you need to edit the simulation files instead, pdf/doc updated with engine simulation file location. There is no need to undo the changes you made to the engine script files although you can if you want to. This is yet another example of the problems I faced in designing this softwareTS2015 Interface Readme doc/pdf1. Updated to V1.01 and tutorial updated to reflect the changes made in both programs. Changes highlighted in blue.Hopefully that should solve most peoples problems but as always, let me know either way Chris
