This could be a problem for those who bought the route from steam, unless AP loads a patch to their own site for the steam version. If you have to wait for DTG to upload an update to steam, we will probably all be pensioners by then ![]()

From Facebook
Join us this evening for the Launch Stream of the Cumbrian Coast & Furness Railway Route V1.
The stream will begin at 8PM so grab yourselves a drink and set up for the evening.
Four years in the making have lead to this moment which we are extremely proud to have reached. We hope you can make it for what should be a rather enjoyable evening.
We travel along the route from Preston to Millom onboard 55022 working a Railtour from back in 2011.The route will be released mid stream so get yourselves prepared with all the requirements so you can get straight in there!
Not only will we be releasing the Route but at the end of the stream why not stick around for the Bloopers of Train Sim TV during 2021 and most likely the previous years!
We hope to see you there

But it is good
.From Backdated Train sim;
Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and all that.
Time for the Christmas gift, and it's a double bill this year. Presenting:
- The Wirral Heritage Tramway -
- Liverpool Bogie Streamliner Tram -This was a bit of a chicken & egg project as I had the plan for the tram first, but built the route first as I had changed plan from my original route idea, thinking that it wouldn't be ready in time for Christmas. And as such the tram doesn't exactly fit with the route but artistic licence should make it fit.
The Wirral Heritage Tramway is a 1.1km preservation tramway (I suppose you could say in TS terms it's more of a diorama than a full route) that runs from the Wirral Transport Museum sheds to the Woodside Ferry Terminal, along Birkenhead Docks. It's been fully signalled with tram signals, I've done my best to get some townscape detailing in and though it doesn't come with QuickDrive owing to its small size, it should be an interesting run for some.
Requirements:
- DTG Liverpool to Manchester Add-On (Steam)
- DTG Woodhead Electric in Blue Add-On (Steam)
- DTG Town Scenery Pack (Steam - Marketplace)
- UK Tramway Signalling Pack https://jamesclass37.weebly.com/assets.html...
- Ryo Standard Gauge Tram Tracks
https://www.uktrainsim.com/filelib-info.php...
- MikeTrams Tram Poles
www.uktrainsim.com/filelib-info.php?form_fileid=20755
- VP Road Pack
http://www.vulcanproductions.co.uk/rb.html...The Liverpool Bogie Streamliner tram is a facsimile of the Liverpool tram of the same name, based off of 869 at Crich. It drives pretty much the same as the Glasgow Coronation. It has cab/interior views, the trolley pole and seats turn to the direction of travel, and you can change the tram number in full and also the destination blind and route number using the autonumber (all listed in the manual). It also comes with headlight flares.
Requirement:
Mike Whiteley's Blackpool Balloon Tram Pack (Latest Version)
https://www.uktrainsim.com/filelib-info.php?form_fileid=22759I have also updated the Glasgow Coronation pack with a fix for the banner glass flickering, and also added the same headlight flares as present on the Liverpool Bogie Tram.
Download all of this for free from the following pages:
https://backdatedtrainsim.weebly.com/wirral-heritage...
https://backdatedtrainsim.weebly.com/rolling-stock.htmlIn a couple of days time, I will see about outlining some of the plans I have for content over the next year and beyond.
Enjoy the trams and Merry Christmas all!

Personally I don't like the idea that my anti virus needs to be disabled whilst it is working. I will continue to update by hand I think.

Personally I have never experienced a crash with this add-on, I wasn't aware of it until I saw the above post, don't recall seeing anything about it anywhere. I do however have 32gb RAM.

HI TomB I don't think it is intended as a replacement for the player train, more for dodgy AI, but I don't know for sure as I don't have the route. There are several similar posts on facebook and there are scenarios staring to appear on ATS.

Personally I have pre-ordered and am happy to wait. I waited 10 & 11 years for two exotic model locos to be made and I was happy to get them. Even if it were this time next year, it would still be a short wait in comparison. I like the exotics, they give variety. Not interested in TSW, to me that's a dead end.

Dson & xtrame90 rather than email Ktrains send the bin file to the author using the email at the end of the readme, he should be able to help you.
Thanks to MaxCook I have uploaded a fix for the R49 stock on the Virtual District Line, it consists of a new Controlnames.txt file which need to be placed in your Settings folder and a new lever map which need to be placed in KeyMaps\Levers\RSCOTT\LONDONTRANSPORT folder.
you can download the two files here
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/cbwyvjrt3x6g ... tracking=1
If you wish to update your controlnames.txt file instead of overwriting it then you need to add the following entries.
Lever=Reverser=REVhandle
Lever=ThrottleAndBrake=MChandle
Lever=TrainBrake=DBhandle

Golden Valleys freeware route West of England released https://www.golden-age-develop…o.uk/west-of-england.html
DESCRIPTION
Description:
This route (Phase 1) covers the roughly 27-mile section of track between Exeter Central and Axminster as it would have appeared in the late-SR to early-BR era (c.1940 to c.1956). In stark contrast to the line as it exists today, there are two tracks throughout, intersected by branch lines to various seaside resorts on the East Devon coast. Many stations are unrecognisable, with full station buildings, bay platforms, sidings, yards, and much more substantial facilities. Passenger services range from local stopping trains to top-link named expresses, with freight services ranging from start-stop local vans trains, to heavy mineral through trains and important overnight newspaper trains. The route is intended to accurately depict the route with only minor embellishments for playability and minimal use of artistic licence. Scenery has been intricately placed to give the feeling that you are truly in Devon in the 1940s. The provision of numerous highly detailed custom assets has allowed us to faithfully recreate the many stations and locations along the line.

There are quite a few complaints about the quality of this at the moment. I would be reluctant to buy it from what I have seen.

We have had this in Britain for some years, but covid stopped it like many other things.
