In the British thread I make mention of an updated version of the route by Carinthia on his site here carinthia.sftt.co.uk/downloads.php only the track and signals have been updated.
-
There is a much expanded version of DP SImulations ECML Northeast available from his site, but you need a lot of British pay-ware to use the QD's http://www.dpsimulation.org.uk/routes.html . I think that this route will continue to grow, but I don't think it is yet decided how far. So far I have not tried JT's new route as everybody here is ill including me. But there are many criticisms of the track quality.

I have heard nothing about JT or AP going on Steam. JT have had financial difficulties, I'm not sure how they would deal with this, but I suspect they will have their own way. AP cannot go on steam, the nature of their packs would I think cause immense problems. Steam Sounds Supreme have already said that they are working on a solution and I doubt that includes Steam. Some very small providers like Matrix, Railsim net, Steam Loco Collection and Making Tracks have not said how they will deal with this. The first three already send files manually so it may be there will be no issue there. Making Tracks are mainly MSTS and their sales are minimal, so they could be lost, or they may sell through Matrix, no idea at the moment

The route hasn't been finalised yet, the author has made some small updates, mainly to assist with importing L&B and SLN scenarios, or to improve the QD. L& B scenarios in particular can be problematic due to changes in the route, some implemented in SLN. Should be finalised soon and then workshop scenarios can be produced. There is a comprehensive QD

Available here on this site http://www.suburban-glasgow.org.uk/ a part of the suburban network around Glasgow. There is planned to be six phases to this. It is nicely done, but uses the older catenary. The intention is that it will merge with WCML North. The read-me is a little contradictory as it says that you can install it as either stand alone or merged, but later says that it is only possible as a stand alone route. At present it is only a stand alone route. There are some payware requirements ;
WCML North
WCML Over Shap
Edinburgh to Glasgow
London Faversham High Speed
Plus the UKTS freeware packs which can be downloaded on several other sites.
For the scenarios you need;AP Class 320/321/322
Oovee Class 156 from Steam
The Freeware Class 318 from UKTS along with the Carmine and Cream Reskin

The much anticipated class 40 from Railright is going to be published by Armstrong Powerhouse instead of DTG as originally announced. The UK community has expressed relief at this announcement as their were concerns about how DTG would deal with such an advanced loco. The loco will have a high level of scripting and functionality. "On Christmas eve we will be announcing our new product line up for 2015, rather like the model railway manufacturers. Some of our current products will be revamped, some withdrawn in 2015 and there will be some new ones too. Stay tuned!" -
From DT FB page 20% off enter code “d41a1166d8″ in your cart. No mention of how long the discount is for, may be until Christmas Eve. Also on DT's website, says for limited time until Christmas, so think it will end Christmas Eve
