Have you extracted the all of the contents of the AP file in the route folder under contents? RWtools can not read files that are in an AP file, so if the scenarios have not been extracted they will be invisible to RW tools

London Underground Virtual District line now available here http://lur.boards.net/thread/116/route-release-imminent comes complete with D78 stock and others. You will also need the fix posted by GPtech here http://forums.uktrainsim.com/v…p?f=361&t=146886&start=45 the files are not stored on UKTS so anybody can download them without restriction. There is now a second patch on the following page of the thread.

The 1066 Line: Hastings - Tonbridge

by xguerra on Tue Apr 25, 2017 9:00 am
My biggest scratch-built route project to-date. The 1066 Line recreates the 32 mile Sussex/Kent main line between Hastings and Tonbridge via Battle, Robertsbridge and Tunbridge Wells. The route has 13 stations with the additions of St Leonards West Marina Carriage Sheds, Mountfield Quarry and Tonbridge West Yard.

The route has one Free Roam scenario and is QuickDrive compatible in both directions. There are normal passenger QuickDrive routes, as well as an empty-stock QuickDrive path to St Leonards West Marina and also some more unusual non-passenger routes starting/ending at Tonbridge West Yard and denoted in the QuickDrive menu by the prefix “[Freight]”. Also included are some updated QuickDrive consists for the Class 421 “4CIG” EMU in Jaffa Cake livery, which allows this unit to appear as AI in QuickDrive scenarios.

    Known bugs:

    - the tunnel hole at the St Leonard's end of Hastings tunnel may randomly appear and disappear. I have replaced the hole decal several times but this hasn't fixed the problem.
    - the Tonbridge West Yard exit signal is correctly set up but won't show a green aspect or theatre code. I think the trackwork is too complex for the script and probably requires a custom script to be made in the future. In the meantime, just obtain permission to pass the signal at danger by pressing the "TAB" key.

I would like to thank Video 125 for producing the 1066 Line cab ride from 1988.
I would like to thank members of the Preserved Thumpers Facebook Group, and especially to Daniel Dowling who was kind enough to share copies of a 1957 timetable for the route.

I would like to thank my beta-testers:
    · James Crellin
    · Mark Newbury
    · Phillip Marshall
    · Ash Bickley

    I will post this here in this thread as it is relevant to the route. From UKTS;

We have two bits of candy for you at Vulcan, I shall do my best to comprehensively explain both below.

First up is a Chiltern Railways Class 82/3 Mk3 DVT. This has had control and input mapper modifications to make it harmonise with the Class 68 when driven from the DVT and to control custom LED lights. As well as new light objects there is new dynamic numbers in the correct location, no smoking stickers on the cabside windows and the leading luggage door has been replaced with a generator vent on each side as per real life. There's a script to help all of this stuff function correctly too. This requires the AP/Waggonz Class 90/Mk3 DVT pack which if you don't have it is currently £6 off for Easter at £8.99. The installers provided are still going to give some people problems, so if by chance the Geo shape file doesn't copy across it comes from the VirginOld folder within Class82DVT folder and is the one containing 'UNI' in the filename - apologies for these issues, they had tested fine.

Second up is a two fold enhancement for the plug door Mk3s. One step is to add buffers to them all, this utilises child object buffers supplied with WCML-N, so you must have this for them to show up. Stage two is an additional pair of Mk3 blueprint suffixed (AP) which alias the AP Class 43/Mk3 enhancement pack sounds and have the audio child objects added too. I believe these sounds are identical for either the MTU or Valenta version of the enhancement pack.

Darren Porter has had no problems with DTG after upgrading and expanding their York Newcastle route, so I see no reason why their should be issues with Munich Augsburg. Similarly there have been no issues with DTG with the expansion of the West Coast Mainline into the the North Clyde Network by Tluanami. One issue however is that there is a limit to 200 mb file size for the workshop, and it has been necessary to provide separate non workshop downloads for non steam files.

Good question, there were some LT routes in the pipeline, but gradually all has gone quiet. Some think there will be a mini route of the LT Acton museum, others a fictional route. The 38 stock used to work over the DC lines from Watford into London parallel to the West Coast Mainline, as far as Queens Park. So scenarios over part of the Freeware London Birmingham route would be possible.
