I'm back on HH Deluxe, 64bit. Really worth the hard labour of putting all the parts together and checking, then rechecking. I do not have much success with the existing missions from the download section here, but using the Editor I made a couple of ICE missions myself. One Cold Morning ICE from Hannover (like the default HH), but all the way to Hamburg instead of just Celle. Another summertime mission from Hamburg to Uelzen. Have lots of services going, Metronom, Dispoloks, etc. Everything is working flawlessly, frame rates are good, feeling of speed immersive. Thanks again all you makers out there... and in here.

My first zwangse free drive on the Spessartbahn. Take note the front lights. I forgot to take a peek behind my chair, so I had to Photoshop from red to white (using clone brush), leaving a small bulb inside, forgetting they are supposed to be LED. Love to shoot a train like this, when it is twisted fron one side to another.

Perhaps a stupid question but i’ll try anyway. Is there a way to use the deluxe to just update the vegetation on the standard RSG edition. Or is there an upgrade available somewhere (i looked in the downloads section but couldn’t find one)

    Kim,

I've used the TrainWorks upgrade for years, but no more success with 64bit and TS2019. Two times in a row, I got heavy stuttering. Today I managed to remove stuff and reinstall H-H default plus the good trackrule (in this forum download section), and I'm back to 45-52 fps out from Hamburg, down to 35 fps to Luneburg with the VR expertline BR101. A small stutter now and then, no problem, need to lower my scenery density slider an inch. Happy now, and next, I will again try H-H Deluxe.

I'm very much looking forward to this one, as I grew up with it in the Varel (Oldenburg) area, in all liveries and colours. I also have three of them on my N-scale model railway, two MiniTrix with sound, one Fleischmann. Can't wait to drive this one...

I don't even know which version I have, but purchased the Brennerbahn around a month ago, always wanted to drive there. Not happy with distant mountains and all that, but I concentrate on what's near me, and I like it, bugs or not bugs. Meaning, it is not fun to se a tunnel opening long before the tunnel opening actually is where it is supposed to be.

Cheers all, and have a good zwangse-free weekend. If I'm in the wrong thread (no problem), throw me away. Actually, that I can do by myself.

EDIT: And sorry for making a mess. I'm good at that now and then.

I like this loco, but for me, the AFB is useless. When I want to reduce speed, the AFB does not react to it before too late. It has to "think" for at least 30 secs before doing something. Because of this, for me, the vR 185 is the boss, with an AFB close to perfection, even in steep hills like the Brennerbahn. My vR 189 is parked for now. My Talent2 is also parked, as that "Tempomat" is useless, Arcade-style.

Das Add-On hat mir sehr gut gefallen, ich würde es jederzeit wieder Kaufen.

After driving on the Brennerbahn for a couple of weeks, I now drive the Railjet. Great train, great loco. My only complaint is when driving the Semmering mission, I get way too much overspeed (using AFB) when having to increase speed when going downhills. But I discovered I can use the brake while still powered, so next time I think it'll be allright.

Gsonz: Great video, whacko sound. Our own El-18 (Re460) was our first with individual systems for each motor.

I always get back to this line now and then, one of the best. Beware that bugger always waiting to stop your cargo train after that long tunnel when going uphills. Even in quickdrive, I never know what to expect next, lotsa fun. And I hate that broken crossings mission. *shau*

Maybe you have missed the fact you need to enable a loco, a consist, or a scenery in order to place it? It IS hard to find a tube for that, I was lucky to find it right away, if my memory serves, I'll get back to that but no promises. Bottom line is if you get the right video (or wiki), the process is downright simple.

The TS2019 Ruhr-Sieg was funny for a while, but with oldish rolling stock and a terrible (but funny) track to put it mildly. So I took a peek at the upgrades, tried a few. The decided to get the ultimate "upgrade" and purchased TSW. Just for Ruhr-Sieg. Been driving for days now, love the services. Excellent graphics, frame rate, good feeling in general. Best about the services is I can jump straight into cocpit and start driving - just like TS. Occasionally, it's also fun with the Aufgaben, where I have to jump outta the loco and end the mission by taking a pee in the bushes. As for real!
