I can either be at less than 95 km/h since (as I often state myself - an airline captain, bus driver or train driver should know his route), or as Tilmann explains (and if I understood this right) - use PZB 85 (Obere). I thought of this before setting off, because I only drove a light container train, "Containers to Singen", modified to use the BR189 expert line.

Otherwise, I now drive confidently with PZB 70 and heavy freight trains, finally knowing what speed I should have at each magnet. It helps a lot watching a video now and then, and also have the PZB quick reference always handy in my cocpit.

PS, Tilmann: I understand your English just fine, being used to tech German from my time at NSB, and being a sailor .

When driving with PZB 70 with a speed of 100 km/h and approaching a yellow speed sign 80 km/h, must I really brake down to 70 km/h? If I dont, I get a zwangse. I find this to be strange. Why down to 70 when I'm supposed to go down to 80? This happens at first 80 km/h sign after leaving Villingen. It also happens (too much) in TSW.

Found out I needed both the SBS version (for H-H Deluxe), and the none SBS version with the word Kuju mentioned. Been driving the whole line completely with PZB, everything working well}

I'm on version 3.1.4 now, and coming from Siegen approaching Welschen-Ennest, I find this tunnel portal blocked (can drive through it). I have checked everything with RW Tools and no missing stuff is reported there. Any ideas?

PS: I was also confused by the statement in the readme I needed version 7.3 signals, and the link is to 9.1. Does not compute for me. But found out as long as "Kuju" is mentioned I'm all good.

It's a great train to drive too. Well made, precise stuff, with a good cab.

Hagen-Siegen 3.1.4 Freeware, quality at the Konstanz-Villingen level. Beats my TSW version I think. Houses no longer all grey, and PZB working a lot better.

For me, been sailing for 30 years + and listening to huge turbos, I think I find this quite satisfying. It hurts my ears onboard, also standing beside different BR218's when speeding up in Northern Germany. Sounds about right, ain't gonna complain. Only things going to be hurt is 1) My ears and 2) My credit card.

Been using TS at least a year now. Grown up with Hamburg-Bremen-Varel (Oldenburg), Oldenburg, Wilhelmshaven late 60's and start 70's. Have to admit I'm slow, finding this gem today. I've just could have asked in this forum. Finally home in diesel heaven, sound turned up!!

Hamburg-Hannover Deluxe 64bit, which is this thread. I used the upgrade a good while ago, but it was stuttering using TS 64bit, so I went back to H-H Deluxe. Good to hear the 474 is a bugger. Then I know for shure I nailed it. I now have three of them going in Hamburg-Lubeck (nice weather), no problems there yet. I'll try rain later on and see what happens :-p

Anyone getting stuttering using the BR474 EMU addon as AI? A while ago I tried using Hamburg S1, but this gave stuttering in H-H Deluxe, so no more S1 for me. Then thought I was "smart" buying just the BR474 EMU. Nope. As long as I have two trainsets running as AI servicing Veddel and Wilhelmsburg, there is indeed stuttering, like with S1. The moment I replace the 474's with the RT BR628, smooooothness is back in business. I now only dare to let one 474 come into Hamburg Hbf as I leave for Luneburg. It seems the moment those 474's are idle, stuttering is gone as well. I'm also wondering if the Versystem upgrade will help, as they say the upgrade will let the 474 run in scenarios...

Pulling out from Bad Oldesloe, destination Lubeck Harbour Siding 84. Starting 0630 and using fog no.7 gives a great environment to drive in.

I did the sound update, then the patching. The Cruise Control (which I wrongly called a Tempomat) works exactly like in my Opel Astra. Just had a very pleasant test ride from Lubeck to Reinfeld (Holst) with perfect sound, better input mapping and the Cruise Control. PZB is now Shift + 8, and Cruise Control is K and Shift K. It also disengages at braking. Originally I bought this trainset to use as KI, but I have a feeling I'm going to drive it myself alot now.

The info is somewhat confusing, as I have version 1.3 and still no tempomat. Also in the download when purchased, there is and exe and a rwp. No info is given if to use the exe or rwp or what is what. Found out the exe is version 1.3, and to NOT use the rwp... as I see it the rwp is supposed to update earlier versions. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Strange indeed, but this is an old trainset, 2015 if memory serves? I searched for info here, but no success. The manual points to Dutch stuff, but I think the links are old & we're sold

Regarding the sale: Dang was I too early (or too eager). Still have no tempomat, but I don't care. Easy to drive, good feeling of a train, and it has all the destinations I need for H-H and H-L, easy to change with Shift + and - (on the numeric keyboard). Also there is a lot of repaints

Three shots from career missions I have made lately for Hamburg-Hannover Deluxe, in this case from Luneburg to Hamburg Hbf. Have a lot of cargo going as I pass Maschen, especially one from Veddel is fun to try to shoot. But need to be vigalant, as H-H Deluxe now has three PZB devils on final approach, and I happened to rig an outgoing train as I come in. Depending on timing, I may get a red, or pass. If I keep on making stress sceneries like this (and take screenies just before Final), I may end up with an ulcher :-p

The Railtraction BR 648 I purchased yesterday (intended mostly as KI) is supposed to have a tempomat, but still I have not found out how to get it to work. Nice diesel set to drive anyway, easy to hold speed, at least on the flatlands I drive mostly (H-H and H-L).
