Just did a short QD ride (in simple mode because i have yet to learn how to really drive a steam engine).
When i said that this will probably be THE dampflok for me i was not mistaken. First impression is that it is indeed a great add-on that i will get much enjoyment from.
One strange thing. I can’t find the manual in the manuals folder. Neither the English or the German manual installs with the lok.
Isn’t there a “simple mode” version included?
My plan is to drive that untill i get good enough at the expert mode.
What passenger coaches would you recommend to buy for this lok?

That is what backups are for. I have just made a backup. And i even have a backup of my pre AP weather TS folder.

@jpvdveer This is off topic: I actually made the Real Drives because i got bored very quickly with playing regular scenarios, because after one playthrough of a scenario that scenario is always the same. Red lights at exactly the same places every time. And that is not what real life as a train driver is. I wanted something that was different every time i played it and that is what the Real Drives do. Random generated Red signals through the use of random generated AI traffic in the path of the player train. Some of the Real Drives have 256 different possible mutations. And i don’t have to go into the editor or rw_tools to change locomotives or seasons,weather, time, since it is a quick drive.
I use QD for my Real Drive scenarios, and now half of the weather is broken for people who drive my scenarios 
There is a difference in quick drive. AP weather is bugged at night with snow, stormy and fog. The old TS weather worked at night with these weather patterns. I’ve been in communications with AP about this and it will not be fixed.
I am very dissapointed with this. Half of the weather in QD is now broken at night. And with no fix it will remain forever so. The only solution is the turn dynamic clouds on if you want to drive at night in snow, stormy and fog.
Are there any of these? Or does all updates have changes to the tracks.bin too.
I am finding that the weather types that depend on fog (fog, stormy and snow) have problems with very white and very black colours. It is like those are not “filtered through the fog”.

That way it will also connect to the existing TS net.
But really i will be surprised if we ever see totally new German/Austrian payware routes at this end of TS lifecycle. I would love to be proved wrong ofcourse.

Yes, very quick fix from AP. I discovered this two days ago and reported it to AP. He asked for details and tests and has acted quick. Great work From him 
I will take the video down. I only uploaded it in order for AP to have a look at the issue.

Am i the only one that have strange results with overcast in quick drives? It sometimes changes abrubtly between light grey and something that looks like the wind is blowing with 300km/h.
I made a short video of overcast in a quick drive. Notice the abrupt changes in the sky both as if it is just a picture being switched with another one, but also at one point it's like there is a glimpse of "earlier in the day" brightness. The windspeed also seems strange for an overcast days, the direction of the clouds too. At one point nosediving as if it is a meteor rain. Also the sun probably should not be as visible if there is an actual overcast.
Under 2 minutes long.
Edit: bug has been fixed, and i’ve taken the video down because i only uploaded it so the developer could investigate the nature of the bug.
