Ultra-nerd warning!
Been restoring a bootleg that collected the best sources (soundboards and very good, almost soundboard, sounding) audience recordings, of Kraftwerks legendary 1981 Computerworld tour. The last couple of years has brought huge advancements in "audio mangling" tools, and i brought this very close to "could be an official live album release" level. It's as close as we'll ever get anyway, since Kraftwerk is dead against archival releases. There was a couple of tracks who had built in "verschlimmbesserungen" made by those who collected the sources way back when, but all in all i've found huge enjoyment in the project and the result.
The Computerworld tour took live performance of synth music to new levels. Things you could easily do now on compact equipment, loaded in the back of your compact car, required them to take truckloads containing their entire studio on the road. And still the performances were a bit primitive sounding compared with their studio counterparts. However there was LOTS of variation since most songs included jams and improvisations. Some of the songs had evolved a lot from their original versions. Radioactivity was evolving towards the uptempo crowd pleaser it would become in the 90s. Autobahn is fast totally different, while It's More Fun To Compute is almost a new song. Also present is the never released song "Die Sonne Der Mond Die Sterne.
Add to that: the level of live tweaking of sounds and sequencers is very impressive for 1981, particularly since so much was actually played live, including lot's of e-drumming, while tweaking.
Did i say nerd? Sometimes nerdery is what brings peace of mind

130 langsamfahrt in Treuchtlingen: must be correct because you have to go through switches. While these are highspeed switches they are probably not for anything more than 130kmh.
The red signal before Donauwörth is strange. I didn’t have that in the IC quick drive.

(I’m sure i just broke every grammatical rule attempting to write that, but at least i tried
)

SeKu Davide is Italian, so there will be some kind of language barrier, and cultural difference in expression as well.
When i first started posting here, the Höflichkeit took me a while to get, as we don’t do it quite the same way in Denmark either.

RSSLO signals are usually really buggy
Nowhere near as buggy as dtg Köln S bahn or Lübeck Kiel. Most of the time RSSLO signals work just fine, particularly if you know how to work around their quirks when building scenarios.

tom87 If an extension from Donauwörth to Augsburg had Sk signals, i guess it would be worth it. Could be fun to have.

Real Drive ist geplant. I have already made for one for Ingolstadt Treuchtlingen, it just hasn’t been released yet.

Nice. Autobuy for me.
-
Well we already know that Nürnberg - Donauwörth is coming.
-
XinoTroN I simply forgot.

Well we have to be grateful for every new German route. Autobuy for me.
If it’s Augsburg Donauwörth, it would be interesting if it has Sk signals. I know they are being replaced as we speak, but i would like to have a route with them.

While i’m also tired of price discussions, mostly because it’s the same discussion everytime, ice is ofcourse correct. Price talk belongs in the thread of the DLC in question. I can just skip reading it, it’s not that hard.

Train Simulator is a copyrighted brand name, owned by DTG. So either it is just a project name, or if not, then it has to be a DTG project. Perhaps the company that DTG was recently sold to wants a TSC successor.

fizzbin Show me even one TSC user that would not pay for TSC v2 if it runs most legacy dlc, but also have cool new features and real optimizations.
