Wow. Looks like something a real city now.

I have many childhood holliday memories from that area, so for me this is autobuy. I also love that it tangents with another TS route. The connected south German/Tirol network is becoming really big.
Now we need Kufstein Salzburg (via Rosenheim)

I have seen posters saying how the ZUB in TS does not reflect the reality as well as PZB in TS. What is missing from the way Rivet Games has implemented the ZUB?
-
And you have never repeated an opinion on a forum? If you’ve never done that, then i find your comment ok. If you have, then don’t shoot at me for doing so!

I still think not including Konstanz was a wasted oppertunity.

I am looking forward to the route. If i drive it even half as much as i’ve driven the Gotthardbahn it’ll be worth it.
As for higher quality routes like Münster Bremen etc... I wouldn’t mind paying a higher price for those, just to keep those developers going.
-
As i remember it, this problem is in the route itself. The signalisation on the Kiel - Lübeck route is just a disaster. There is an update that fixes all those problems, including that one.
-
The ZUB worked well on the Gotthardbahn. There is no reason to believe it is different on the new route.
-
@Prelli ofcourse you know this, but you can put in portals in scenarios yourself. They will be exported with the scenario. There is a tool that makes it possible, and it works just as well as scenario markers.
And markers too ofcourse.

Are using the internal soundcard? If not, then switch to internal soundcard and try again.

Kleine Fortschritte sind auch Fortschritte

(i hope i got that right without violating the very nice German language

Hi there. I see you are new here. Questions about freeware route release dates are generally not goid questions to ask. The answer will always be “when it’s finished, and untill then don’t stress the route builder.
I am not saying this to put you down! Just to tell you that not asking this question is viewed as good forum etiquette.

At least a month before i can cross the border into Germany again

Hope everyone stays safe.

Even at my age (47) i can no longer maintain the guitar technique that i had even 5 years ago. And since the guitar is how i make a living, it is beginning to frustrate me.

@B42 Verständlich.
Looking forward to the route. Take the time you need to make yourself satisfied with it.

What is a realistic today might change tomorrow. As i understand it there weren’t much SSB traffic to Singen for years. But now there is. So it might not be realistic now but it only takes a change of plans at SBB and then the missing two kilometers to Konstanz will be the unrealistic situation.
So let me ask any of you who only thinks ultra realism is a goal. Would it hurt you if Konstanz was included? I am sure there is some traffic on these two kilometers of track. Otherwise they would have been torn up.
If some of us would like not to have a gaping hole of two kilometers between TS routes, why would you be against it? Why would you not wish for us who would like to have Konstanz included, to have our wish granted? If it was included, no-one forces you to drive that small stretch of route. It is not like we wish for Rostock to be connected with Verona. It is not an unreasonable wish to not having a hole of two kilometers between available TS routes.
Realistic or not. I would like to be able to drive from Konstanz to Schaffhausen. I think that not having these two missing kilometers is a BIG wasted oppertunity to future proof the route if the SBB should decide to run regular traffic into Konstanz. In real life Konstanz has ZUB magnets so it is not like Swiss traffic never happens.
Look at the picture. I don’t think this will destroy the economy at Rivet Games.
-
So virtual tracks has offered their expertise. And Konstanz has ZUB so you do not need to built PZB into it.
-
My 5 cents in the “nach Konstanz” discussion: Too bad that it is too much of an effort to make for your costumers.
It is not like German signalling and Swiss signalling is worlds apart.

@Gsonz Danke für die Spacedesk Hinweisung. I tried another app which unfortunately had a visible impact on TS fps. Spacedesk is lighter on the system.

Good thing that RSSLO didn’t use that logic when they built the Brennerbahn. Then that would end at St. Jodok.
That goes for all routes that crosses borders actually. None of those would happen if that logic was applied to them.
