Neue Version RW-Tools

Neue Version 5.0.26 (31.10.2013):
v5.0.25 - Changed scenario editor so that it no longer rejects scenarios with invalid times. This
was wrongly reporting invalid times where a scenario started one day and finished the next.A file describing use with .ap files is at http://www.rstools.info/RW_Tools_and_APfiles.pdf
this will eventually be added to the help file once it is updated. -
Neue Version 5.0.28 (01.11.2013):
v5.0.28 - Updated the option to clone a scenery asset with over 50 textures (some stations) so that
it worked in RW_Tools.A file describing use with .ap files is at http://www.rstools.info/RW_Tools_and_APfiles.pdf
this will eventually be added to the help file once it is updated. -
Neue Version 5.0.29 (07.11.2013):
v5.0.29 - There have been changes in the marker files used in TS2014 - This version should work OK
to convert markers to .dcsv or .csv files as required in TS2014. Make sure you copy the
Templates in this pack into your RW_Tools\Templates folder. You should also note that
the person downloading a route you build will not necessarily have the marker flag which
was in Kuju\RailSimulator\RouteMarkers unless they have the Kuju European pack. The only
way I can see around this is to distribute the flag with your route (probably RSC would
allow this, but I don't know). If you do that, then edit Templates\routemarker.txt and
delete Kuju and RailSimulator from the <FlagBlueprint> section, and place flag.bin,
flag.geopcdx and Textures\Flag1.tgpcdx and Flag2.tgpcdx in your RouteMarkers folder.A file describing use with .ap files is at http://www.rstools.info/RW_Tools_and_APfiles.pdf
this will eventually be added to the help file once it is updated. -
Neue Version 5.0.31 (10.11.2013):
v5.0.31 - Updated the 'Find all .ap files' option by adding 2 extra columns - these are:-
'Length of .ap file' and 'Size of folder' if the folder size is not much larger than
the length of the .ap file, it indicates the .ap file is not unpacked and the filename
is highlighted in red.
When .ap files are unpacked with the 7zip option, they are now automatically made read/write.A file describing use with .ap files is at http://www.rstools.info/RW_Tools_and_APfiles.pdf
this will eventually be added to the help file once it is updated. -

Neue Version 5.0.32 (12.11.2013):
v5.0.32 - After discussion with several users, it would seem that extracting complete .ap files does
cause the Assets and Content folders to become excessively large, especially as the only
folders which are regularly required to be unpacked are the RailVehicle folders in Assets
and Scenario folders in Content. With a lot of help from 'Chacal' on the RailWorks America
forums, I have managed to set up 4 extra buttons on the 'Find all .ap files' screen:-
Extract rolling-stock from all .ap files
Extract scenarios from all .ap files
Extract rolling-stock from all selected .ap files
Extract scenarios from all selected .ap files
These do as they say and are a much faster way of extracting say a few scenarios plus their
associated rolling stock to do some stock swaps etc. The options to extract the scenarios
also extracts the RouteProperties.xml file so that the route name appears correctly in the
scenario editor.
Ensure that you copy the new Templates from this pack into the RW_Tools\Templates folder.A file describing use with .ap files is at http://www.rstools.info/RW_Tools_and_APfiles.pdf
this will eventually be added to the help file once it is updated. -
-
Neue Version 5.0.33 (15.11.2013):
v5.0.33 - Fixed the option in Route Building to raise/lower track throughout the route. Although the
track raised/lowered correctly, other items such as switch levers, low level signals and
turntables were unchanged in many cases. This all works correctly in this version, thanks
to Otto for noticing this.A file describing use with .ap files is at http://www.rstools.info/RW_Tools_and_APfiles.pdf
this will eventually be added to the help file once it is updated. -
-
Neue Version 5.0.36 (22.11.2013):
v5.0.36 - Reinstatated the button in the Scenario Editor - 'Swap in every consist' - this should now
work correctly and swap the selected items out in every consist in the scenario being checked.
Added a new button to the 'Find all .ap files' to 'List all files in selected .ap archive'
which might be useful to some users.A file describing use with .ap files is at http://www.rstools.info/RW_Tools_and_APfiles.pdf
this will eventually be added to the help file once it is updated. -
Neues RW-Tools Handbuch in Version 5 steht zum Download (RW_Tools_Help.zip 7.52MB - 24.11.2013).
-
Neue Version 5.0.38 (15.12.2013):
v5.0.38 - Fixed the Route Packager which was failing.
Added option to just extract the .geopcdx files from the RailVehicles folder of .ap asset
files - useful for those with re-skins which need the .geopcdx files to place in the reskin
folder.
Added 2 new options to the Scenario Editor to change the start speeds of the User driven
loco and of selected AI consists in scenarios. Probably not a lot of use for the user
driven loco, but starts AI at their correct speed. Useful for experimenters at least.A file describing use with .ap files is at http://www.rstools.info/RW_Tools_and_APfiles.pdf
this will eventually be added to the help file once it is updated. -

Neue Version 5.0.41 (17.12.2013):
"Dave Dewhurst has produced Cab Occlusion files for both the UK Class 37 and Class 47 locomotives.
Adding these to the model as child objects gives much better shadow detail
etc in the locomotive cabs. To automate the installation of these files, he asked me to
add the option to RW_Tools, which I have done. You can now select as many Class 37 or
Class 47 locomotives as you wish in the Edit Assets screen of RW_Tools and the select the
option to add cab occlusions in the menu and these will be added for you.I have also changed the picture viewer in the Edit Assets screen so that if you select
the 'Name' column of a Locomotive which has a LocoInformation folder (which covers most
RSC locomotives), then the image.png file in that folder will be displayed, even if you
don't have the loco in the RW_Tools\Thumbnails folder.
I have placed a batch file, registersp.bat, in the RW_Tools folder. This batch file will
register the SuperPicture2.ocx file and should be clicked on to activate it if you find
that when you wish to display pictures in RW_Tools and always get the same picture appearing." -
Neue Version 5.0.43 (21.12.2013):
v5.0.43 - Updated 'Print list of all routes and scenarios' to add scenario type.
The picture in the Edit Scenarios screen and Edit Consists screen now updated as in v41 to
display the LocoInformation image.png file if it exists for a loco.A file describing use with .ap files is at http://www.rstools.info/RW_Tools_and_APfiles.pdf
this will eventually be added to the help file once it is updated. -
Neue Version 5.0.44 (18.01.2014):
v5.0.44 - Changed the list box in the Check Route screen as the original one failed if a route had
over 32768 assets. You only need this for very large routes at this time.A file describing use with .ap files is at http://www.rstools.info/RW_Tools_and_APfiles.pdf
this will eventually be added to the help file once it is updated. -
Zwei Sachen verstehe ich nicht.
ZitatUnder these circumstances it has been noticed that Steam appears to delete ALL of the files you unpacked originally, and maybe even those you have modified, thus rendering anyalterations you have made void
