Shame something like this is never done in Germany...
@holzroller
Can you tell us how long this route is?
I think maybe 40-50 miles of main lines, and many many freight sidings. Every colliery has it's own sidings, as will every station. It is a bit like the North London Lines in the country, lots of heavy slow freight trains with fast and slow passenger trains. Speed with the freight trains will be low on the many gradients, and if done well it will be a very challenging route to drive. With so many sidings and a need for wagons to fill them the line can't be too long
What types of engines drove here? So that I know kinda what to expect for rollings stock. I'm excited about this! I Absolutely loved the Riviera line. Are there any other steam era routes out there?
Western lines of scotland http://store.steampowered.com/…_of_Scotland_Route_AddOn/ , and Weardale and Teesdale
http://store.steampowered.com/…dale_Network_Route_AddOn/ and , the second is Steam/Early Diesel.
Woodhead steam/early electric http://store.steampowered.com/…tor_Woodhead_Route_AddOn/ from DTG.
If you look in my British thread here The British thread (english language / Englisch Kenntnisse erforderlich) there are also some good freeware routes available as well.
Have a look in the UKTS thread here for information about the engines used on the route http://forums.uktrainsim.com/v…1&t=147472&st=0&sk=t&sd=a
Now available, the V2, O2, 4f, & 8f are downloaded as separate dlc packs. Good news for me as I had missed the V2 pack when it came out. Steam will only download the loks you don't have, so Steam Sounds Supreme packs will be unaffected. Sorry no link, I am in Germany with tablet and phone.
