Liebe Leute,
ich habe eine seit 2012 stabil laufende TS-Installation auf einem Asus 750-Notebook mit einer GTX780M-Grafikkarte. Ich habe die max. Frames auf 30 begrenzt, weil das Spiel damit flüssiger läuft und mir das in der Regel ausreicht. Eine komplette Steamüberprüfung habe ich schon seit Jahren nicht mehr gemacht. War einfach nicht notwendig.
Heute habe ich von Steamsoundsupreme das GWR-Hall-Enhancementpack installiert und danach, wie in der Anleitung beschrieben, die entsprechenden Geopcdx-Dateien aus dem Default-Ordnern (Engine und Tender) in die jeweiligen Engine-Ordner der neuen Loks kopiert. Danach habe ich den Cache im Spiel geleert. Dies hat dann sehr lange gedauert, gefühlt über 10 Minuten. Seitdem läuft das Spiel sehr langsam, egal mit welcher Strecke und mit welchem Szenario. Ich habe nur noch 8-10 FPS. Auch das Starten des Spiels dauert wesentlich länger als vorher.

Eine Steamüberprüfung würde ich gerne vermeiden, da ich dann gefühlt hunderte von Mods neu installieren müsste. Aber ich bin auch alles andere als ein IT-Fachmann. Vielleicht weiß jemand von Euch Rat?
