Would it be possible to add Dynamic Numbering?

Sorry to dissapoint, but no. Loco will not have dynamic numbering. None of my loco have this feature, as I´m using phototextures. It would be very hard to make those class numbering look realistic.

How to turn on the Sifa?

Loco does not have SIFA in a way you know it from german locos. Never had. It has czechoslovak LVZ system, that, when switched to PZB, act as SIFA. You just have to start it according to manual.

Hi guys, new update, v 1.2.0 is out. Please, take your time and read the manual, especially the last chapter, about how to set those prefixes. All customers should receive an information mail about the update also with changelog.

I RECOMMEND to DELETE Blueprint.pak from Kiski/372pack01 folder. Sometimes it can cause weird things if you apply model update and do not delete this.

Hallo,Due to the computer problem,my activations has reached the maximum. I wonder to ask if my setup has reached the maximum of activations, and I can't install this locomotive anymore. Is there any solution?

    Greetings.

Already answered. Next time please use official mail address, this forum is not intended for such communication. Thank you.

    Hello Kiski,

this is a very nice Add-on. But i have noticed something with the Hasler Bern in the 372-Variant.

Seems as if the Hasler Bern just works in Mode LVS not in Mode PZB. Is this right? Shouldn't it always show the indicated speed?

Hi Marc, no, everything is ok. Hasler-Bern speedometer workd only when LVZ si selected. Once you switch to PZB, it turns off, However it will stay illuminated when you have instrument lights switched on.

I found the problem. The outside sounds should be mono and not stereo.

I converted the following sounds from stereo to mono and it works as intended:

I found that too, already, in the afternoon. Will be corrected in the next update. But with actual parameters they still won´t work as intended, because they start to attenuate on 5m distance from loco and will be completely silent on 300m and more. That´s still to far from the source (loco). I guess 150-200m will be much closer to reality.

Hi kiski It seems that your shop is not working correctly. There should be a captcha when checking out, but there is none.

Yes, you´re right. That reCaptcha thing is a novelty for PayPal paying method, however I do not have it set. That thing is needed only when someone wants to pay via GooglePay, ApplePay or any other card via PayPal plugin. But I have those disabled on PayPal plugin, so paying on my eshop via PayPal is possible only after you are logged in your PayPal account. Such paying payPal method is not affected.

If anybody insist on paying via GooglePay or ApplePay, or any other card (either credit or debit), use Comgate plugin instead that have these enabled and have its own secure system.

The new sound is great, but unfortunately the engine sound outside only gets quieter when the distance is far away. For example, if you have a train with 6 cars, at the last car it sounds like you are right next to the locomotive.

New sounds were created by Dominik and I believe his sound curve for volume is set on ListenerDistanceSquared or something like that. I ask him what is needed to change. We'll see...

I actually have one more feature request, not sure how difficult it is to implement this.

Currently, the default state of catenary system and train safety system depends on the type of loco. But if I create a scenario in CZ with the 230/180, or in DE with the 372, I might want to pre-select the catenary and safety system appropriate for the country.

This could be done by adding parameters to the vehicle number, e.g. "3kV" or "15kV" or "LVZ" or "PZB".

And, I haven't found anything in the manual about this, is it possible to change the brake mode (R/P/G) in-game?

R/P/G change is done automatically according to the train lenght. There's no such thing like setting it directly. DAKO BS4 does not have it (not in model and neither in reality).

That pre-selecting you mean only for AI? I plan to make an update, so this could be implemented. I have no idea if this can be implemented for player controlled loco, never created any scenario. Tell me, is it possible to change the name for loco when creating scenario??

Citaro Bader I saw your video. One thing - I do not know german, so I pass the sound. But I saw you have answered to the comment under the video. Correction - LVZ is not LS90. LVZ is LS IV. LS90 come later.

Also, there´s no need to switch on the 3-phase converted, while on DC 3kV. That converter is there only to convert 1-phase current to 3-phase current for oil pumps for transformator cooling system. Which is of course not used while on 3kV.

Thanks for the update, especially the audio improvements. Makes the whole thing feel even more alive :)

I want to make some scenarios eventually, but I need time and the goodwill of the dispatcher.

Glad you like it. Although I must admit - I still play with previous sound version. Like it a bit more - makes much more rumble and I feel like I´m on the old lady, not on something new and quiet.... These new were requested by community, so I updated them.

DennyW : Long story short - there are only two problems related with PZB and personally I think that for someone who never saw this is reality it´s a nice work. Although PZB has been tested quite intensively, those two bugs are annoying.

First - you can´t comfirm Wachsam when you´re driving faster than maximum confirmation Vu speed you need to decrease for your train type in time when you´re passing active 1000Hz. Means 85/70/55 according to the mode. If you´re under this speed, you´re good to go and Wachsam can be normally confirmed. This is caused by one additional timer variable I use, and I haven´t scripted it properly. It is corrected now.

Second - when you´re influenced by 1000Hz and still within 700m distance from 1000Hz magnet (yellow LED is lit) and you stop for some reason (for example some type of emergency braking, not necessary from PZB), it should be lit after run-up (of course if you´re not influenced with 500Hz also). This is not working properly and the led is off. Also already corrected.

No other problems are related to PZB.

Wait for update, it should be ok after that.

Yes, it's stated exactly like that in the instructions! And yes, that's exactly how it is in the original version. It's possible that it was solved differently in later versions, but I'm not aware of that from browsing some specialist websites. kiski

No, it was never solved differently. Although 371 were later equipped with LS90, not LVZ, SIFA supplementing remained the same.

    Guys, guys,

you really don´t read that manual... SIFA is supplemented with czechoslovak train safety system LVZ :) Original loco (even your cerman variants) never had standalone SIFA device Look into manual how to operate it. Everything is in there.

Gainmaster I think that german class 230 is weatehred enough. Also czechoslovak 372 010. You know, I make my skins from real photos, and usually do not add anything plus. If photos were not weathered, so is not the skin. I do not plan to do anything else with skins, except small mapping corrections that arise during creating another skins by Airvolk. All this will be part of update. I suggest not to make any skins until then.

BlackHawk Airvolk is the one who create skins for this class. Maybe also some others, but until now I´m not aware of anybody else. I made standard two that are part of installation and do not plan to make any else. That´s why I made a DevBonus folder, where are shadow map and mapping map located. Skilled repainter do not need anything else.

    Hi.

First of all, thank you. I put a lot of work into model itself and tried to do my best. Especially pantos were pain in the ass, but luckily I beat them 😉

Secondly - compressor sound is not from ZSSK 131. It' been recorded on real 372 class by my friend that drive them irl. I have no better sound, so this will stay untouched in update.

Traction motor sounds are taken from peršing, as they in reality share the same type, so the gearbox. But Dominick already made them anew, so they will be altered. Not aware if only interior or all of them, as I do not have them yet, he's still about to send them to me.

Ventilators - again, they were taken on real machine too. But you know, every machine on its own 😉 interior samples will be added, but exterior will stay, as there's nothing else we can do with them.

I have finally found what glitch is in PZB code, and already all is corrected.

Stay tuned for update. All customers will be informed via mail.

A bug in PZB code has been reported - passing 1000Hz magnet with speed higher than Vu Normal will cause emergency braking. This will be corrected in upcoming update among other things.

I have scripted PZB for the first time, so please excuse possible bugs. Thanks.

    ---

Now I could drive. Yay, the locomotive is really fun! Many thanks to kiski for these wonderful locomotives, what a boon for the TSC and fans of the 230 and 372.

I have one more question: I came to a signal where I had to confirm the PZB, but unfortunately the PZB activated the emergency brake before I reached the signal. I didn't even have a chance to press the button. How can I release the train brake again, as it always applied with 100% force? No matter what I tried, it didn't release.

Hi again, I´m glad you finally enjoy them.

When such situation arise and you get the emergency brake from PZB system, you must immediately move the train brake lever to N (Z) position (look into manual which position is that). if you won´t do that, brake controler is still connected to main reservoirs, so all air will flow away through emergency ventil. This will prevent you from loosing the air in reservoirs. Wait for loco until it stops and press Frei. You must be stationary to release yourself from PZB emergency. When it is done, move the train brake lever again to J position to fill up the pipe again, thus release the train brake. Beware, if you do not have enough air in reservoirs, you won´t be able to fill up the pipe - because simply you have no air to fill. It´s a bit of trickery :)

One more thing - be careful if you get the emergency braking from PZB or from LVZ, which acts as SIFA when PZB is active.
