I have recieved excellent news from Schienenbus : Radiomaster allow me to inclued a part of his 3D vegetation pack in my upcoming patch for all german DTG/RSC routes. It will switch DTG/RSC trees with radiomaster one's. I have improove them to avoid visible LOD changing. The platform will use the characters introduced by LGVMedSouth and increase the number of characters on platforms. There are 4 sets of 12 characters wearing seasonal clothes. The patch will also set nices skies.

When it rains, the drops on the side Windows go from back to front.
From side view, wheels are doing a kind of yoyo (excentered)...
Do they ever test their engine ?
BR 145 160 Km/h works fine (I use the 146 script renamed) including AFB. I use it every day. ![]()
But the BR 145 with ZZA still have the 140 Km/h AFB cap. Not important, I don't like ZZA. ![]()
I have a quick fix for weathered windshield and rain area.
thanks to a discussion with yellowdoor, I fix the *windows mistake* (maybe a feature, not a bug).
First part
1/ Copy Window_nm.TgPcDx and/or Window_nmc.TgPcDx from BR187\RailVehicles\Cab\Textures to BR187\RailVehicles\Engine\Textures.
2/ Drag the file BR187_Railpool_30X.GeoPcDx on the RW_Tools icon (or use RW_Tools to open BR187_Railpool_30X.GeoPcDx)
3/ Search for window_nm, you will found (according to me, one must be a nmc but not sure) :

4/ Change Cab to Engine :

Run TS and you will enjoy the *new Windows*. They will fit the wiper area.
Second part
Download my Hotfix from Sharemod. The hot fix also have inputmapper wich add the vR control num pad +/- and Shift/Control + V to change wipers speed.

Now, the BE 187 is fixed : Inside Windows have correct weathering and rain wiped area form inside and outside.
I found the the BR 187 nice to drive, better than the Vectron.
There is a useless texture une the cab folder : Window_Bris_nm.TgPcDx. The model use the same Windows texture for Inside and outside view. This is a mistake (Vectron have one texture for each view).
This will not help me to make a nice weathered windshield. I have to make it looks good from Inside and ouside (texture is less streched out side).
They forget to delete the unneeded *.cost and *.pak files.
EDIT : My bad, this was the rain wiper area texture. So it's not useless.
Poor texturing ! I will fix the windshield first. Except this, it looks like a decent RSSLO engine. This can be compared to the RSSLO Vectron AC/DC.
3D modeling is very good
I use the 26 characters from LGV Med in 4 sets of 12 characters. There is one set for each season and planty people on platforms !

Great ! My first post was not very clear. But you just have point what was the main issue I found in the Flirt. The second part of my post (and I agree, the two parts were mixed up) was about the increase of texture size in general. Using *too* large texture for wagons, engines, routes, EMU leads to a BIG issue : when the game reach 3.5 GB of RAM, it crash. So it's great to have very nice trains, wagons, routes, vegetation and so on but if we can enjoy them togather due to 32bits limitation, it's a bit sad.

Thanks to answer. Try this : delete the folder Version NS. Play the game with the SUWEX, it's fine from outside. Go in the cab and look at the wiper. Missing Texture.
I suppose it's just a mistake !? To have the wiper texture, you need the AB_nm.TgPcDx and AB_norm_nm.TgPcDx wich are very larg file for texturing such a small part.
All cabview visible item are independant of the train version expect the wiper. A shared texture would be nice for the wipper to avoid loading AB_nm.TgPcDx and AB_norm_nm.TgPcDx (from NS version) for SUWEX version (and/or repaint). I did not check if your other version also call the AB_nm.TgPcDx and AB_norm_nm.TgPcDx (from NS version).
According to your capture, the third one is the compromise I accept.
I know if I go close with lower texture I will have issue like in the close up. But I never go so close. Most time, I look at the whole train. It's nice you made mnc and nm textures. At least, there is a choice. AP use the same texture and just call them nm and nmc.
Only the Influenzo engines have so big texture. If you compare with vR BR 101 wich is also a simple red engine, the texture are mutch more smaller. And no one have ever complain about the visual quality of the BR 101. I don't know why Influenzo use so large textures.
A lot of stuff have *Doppeltexturen* (hidden in .ap file). And according to me, a lot of stuff is nice enough with the lower quality texture. Most time we drive... from the inside. And when we take pictures, we never do close up of a part of the train. The be honest, even good old TTB TRAXX are nice enough when your see them from the cab or even for a picture at more than 10 meters.
For the cab, the difference is visible. True. My goal was to explain a way to save some space on storage and what is more important in RAM. Optimisation may take some time if you chose the replacement or not for each file.
Here is what I have changed for BR 146. I use beschriftung.TgPcDx from BR 145 (BR 146 one is 21 MB).
