Any response would have been better than the one he provided.
-
For example, some news on the state of development.
What do you think? -
Seems to do it on purpose to piss people off.
-
For information only (for those who do not attend the DTG forum).
In this discussion MattP talks about the editor.
In practice this year it does not even arrive with a letter to Santa Claus.
-
I think an update is coming, but it is not currently known.
(History).

The locomotive is really fantastic.
Had it seemed to me that I had read somewhere that the big Falns doors could be opened?
I can not do it. -
This point of MattP. (from the DTG forum about next Class31) is interesting.
This could be (also) a cause of the release delay of the editor. In practice, not all routes are still optimized to the fullest.
Obviously it's my speculation."While the 31 is of course a great fit for the North Trans-Pennine route, it wouldn't slot in to many of the existing services at all (you can't sub a pair in for a single for example) and would need a new service layer to be constructed. There wasn't the opportunity to do that for this pack unfortunately. If the opportunity presents to add a 31 layer to the NTP pack then of course it's something that can be looked into.
There is also something heavy about the memory usage on the NTP route at the moment and until we have that isolated and resolved I'm wary about increasing the load on the route and potentially creating problems for people.
So - absolutely not saying that it doesn't fit, but that it specifically doesn't fit the specific services that are currently on the route bearing in mind substitution can only sub one vehicle for one vehicle, it can't change the formation. If we can add a new layer in the future, that would enable some interesting possibilities using the existing stock I think, but to be completely clear and transparent - that is not on a plan at the moment."
Matt.

The PCA two-axle wagons are also very beautiful, I must say.

Now can you actually list a source of that statement?
You know very well what I'm referring to. Try to find it yourself. You think you're funny, right?
Take a ride knocking on doors to ask for candy.
It's the right evening.

This is actually more precise. However the crux of the matter is that from April to now there has been no progress according to DTG.
Hard to believe. -
Give me the source and I'm happy. And please an explicit release date.
But are you kidding me?
-
In fact they are themselves the cause of discontent.
-
But absolutely not so.
If your memory helps you, you should remember that the editor (Beta) had to be released even in December 2018. Then it was also considered in subsequent Studio Updates ( last in april 2019). But then suddenly it was made to disappear from DTG with the magic wand.
We specify well how things are. -
Even if someone here says that I complain too much (and maybe he's right
) this is proof that I like the TSW and I support it, despite everything."Thank you for your recent transaction on Steam.

Can't they develop the editor anymore? NO DRAMA.
But it takes courage to say it.
The system adopted by DTG " out of sight, out of mind", is cowardice.
-
All true.
But the pleasure of downloading some new scenarios, creating a convoy to your liking or downloading Repaints created by willing (and very able) freeware developers is priceless.
A little more interesting than hot air balloons ...
Points of view. -
Perhaps I complain a little too often but, by character, I don't believe everything others write. Also to communicate Mr. Matt could return to the origins and publish (occasionally) an Update Studios.
No, I don't like wine. Anyway thanks for asking.
You really are a funny guy.
-
On the DTG forum Matt suddenly started talking. According to him the reasons for the absence of a DB Diesel loco are the sounds.
Which they haven't yet.
But does this guy drink too much wine in the evening? -
I know, I've seen it.
Rivet Games has collaborated in the development of many additional components for TSW starting from Talent2. But even Rivet Games, which surely knows how to use the UE4 editor, needs DTG authorization to develop additional components.
