The point is that by transferring the old TSW1 content to TSW2, the collection is not lost. If you intend that soon you will have duplicates (as seems to be the case with the Talent 2) you are absolutely right.
However, DTG is less likely to attempt to sell all existing full routes again (I hope).

On the menu we have these possibilities:
OpenRails, TF2, MSTS, Train Sim World, Run8, Train Simulator (DTG), Derail Valey, World of Subway, EU07, Trainz2019, Densha de GO!, Zusi, EEP etc.
Each with its strengths and weaknesses.
Play your game!

Nickhawk.
Do you think that the Repaints you created (gorgeous), TrainWorks and others will still work for TSW1 after reloading them into TSW2? -
This consideration is also correct. However, as far as I'm concerned, what I'm looking for is excellent graphics, excellent technically speaking models, and the possibility of having the feeling of being in contact with a real railway. This the TSW manages to transmit it to me. I don't care about scenarios and many other implementations. Basically I love watching trains and the railroad.
I also do it in reality.

Ich möchte eigentlich auf die BR 155 nicht verzichten wollen.

Another situation is that I, for example, would do without the RT route, but if I eliminate it I lose the possibility of using the BR182 (which I like very much) on all the other routes. Basically if you want to keep the addons TSW1 with all the rolling stock you have to keep everything. The addons are chained.
I believe the same will be true for TSW2.
I don't want to lose anything. I personally consider the TSW1 addons,
especially with regard to rolling stock,
(I only have German material) of excellent quality. -
Geduld
da haben sich ein paar neue Möglichkeiten aufgetan.
MatthiasOff Topic.
Hi Matthias, what do you mean by that?
I was also thinking of switching to Trainz because of its fantastic editor. -
The end of a railway simulator that had a lot of potential. This time it's really over.
I just have to look elsewhere.

A complete disaster.

Apparently it is not possible to use the old addons (locomotives and wagons) to create scenarios (or QD) in TSW2. They want to sell us BR 155/182/204/146/185 once again but with the characteristics of TSW2? But at DTG they are crazy.
-
Could anyone make a summary (in German) of the highlights of TSW2's streaming when it ended? Live they speak too fast for me and moreover my internet connection is unstable. Thanks.
-
This is because DTG probably doesn't want a third-party developer to use his program for profit. I think TSW will never be like TS. I am afraid that the only way chosen by DTG is that of collaboration under "close surveillance". As happened with RG. I think DTG will need to rely on external developers in the future, but not without its supervision.

Unfortunately, I don't think the characteristics of the new routes will be discussed today. I seem to have read that these arguments will be postponed to another date. It seems that the questions DTG will have to answer today are already too many.
I think most of the questions tonight will be about the backward compatibility of the old add-ons (not really a detail). -
Sorry for my ignorance.
Some questions as an example.
In TSW2 can I use the br155 on the new ICE route?
In TSW2 can I use ICE on the MSB? -
I noticed that there is a lot of discontent in this sense also on the DTG forum. I'm sorry but if it were I will give up.

After sleeping, I think I will wait for the flow on Thursday before I decide to continue with TSW. There are some things that excite me, however many other things are unclear. For example, I'm not sure what exactly it means to have non-remastered old addons.
On the DTG forum there are many interested questions already posted. Let's see how the situation evolves.Edit: for example the BR Class 20 will be released on June 18 already old. And at this point the BR 204 update is no longer realized?
-
I still haven't figured out if the old add-ons can be used in the scenario editor or in the livery redesign.
For example, can I use the BR155 on the new ICE line? -
So with the ability to create your own scenarios and convoys, DTG will probably also develop a TSW Marketplace.
-
@ICE's werden sich ja schon seit Jahren gewünscht. Die U-Bahn war wohl in der Streckenumfrage auch nicht weit hinten.
Do you mean that if one wishes, he can only buy the German route with ICE?
-
Sorry for the idiotic question.
Does the creation of scenarios also mean composition of the trains according to your tastes?
