Mal ne andere Frage: DTG hat nicht zufällig im Roadmap Stream gehinted, was so ungefähr die deutsche Strecke sein könnte? Hab den Stream nicht gesehen, und will nicht nur den Abschnitt raussuchen, wo sie darüber sprechen.

In SteamDB from today there are already the "Stats" for Liverpool-Crewe.
DTG recently said that this route (the first with steam trains) was still a long way off for months.
It seems that DTG enjoys contradicting itself...

I don't think UE5 is completely revolutionary compared to UE 4.26 / 4.27.
Clearly the technology is progressing, but redoing a program from scratch every time is a bit expensive and wasteful.
In my opinion, DTG should focus more on trains. Many types are missing, especially freight wagons.
The flying planes and the "skits" as a side dish are nice, but not fundamental.
The fact remains that everything can be expected from DTG.

Speculations aside, only an English steam route (by the way it might not interest everyone) is a bit scarce in terms of planning for the future.
Perhaps nothing in particular will happen, but the delays in the updates of the preserved collection (latest declaration "by / end Summer 2022"), are a bit suspicious ...

Není tajemstvím, že DTG pracuje na svém prvním DLC s parní loko. Jenže celá tahle práce nabrala trochu jíný rozměr než původně DTG předpokládalo. Určitě si pamatujete na vyjádření DTG, že letní Rush Hour core update bude jedním ze dvou velkých aktualizací jádra. S oznámením Rush Hour totiž rovnou přišlo i oznámení Spirit of Steam. Podle původních plánů totiž Spirit of Steam mělo být připraveno před Vánoci 2021 (všichni víme jak plány a sliby DTG končí). No a protože Spirit of Steam vyžaduje trochu více péče, rozhodlo se DTG celou hru naportovat na UE5 a vydat ji jako Train Sim World 3: Spirit of Steam. Zároveň tím skončí podpora starších kozolí (PS4 a X:One), protože zde DTG dost naráželo na limity právě starších konzolí. Co to znamení pro ostatní hráče ? Asi nikoho nepřekvapí, že si budete muset hru znovu zakoupit (ostatně to stejné se stalo při přechodu z TSW 2020 na TSW 2). Dalším faktem je, že všechna již existující DLC skončí opět jako preserved collection. Přechod z UE 4.26 na UE5 není sice tak drastický, ale i zde bude muset všechna DLC nejdříve otestovat.
Druhým faktem je, že hry vydané na UE5 jsou většinou cryptované a tedy hůže modifikovatelné. Ve finále to znamená, že existující modifikace prostě přestanou fungovat. Pro mě a mého kolegu tento přechod znamená ještě další věc a tou je portace neoficiálního editoru právě na UE5.
TSW 3: Spirit of Steam bude v základu obsahovat jednu historickou trať (UK), 2 parní loko, dále opět SPG (pořád je to takové jádro hry) (US) no a zůstaneme i u německé tratě SKA. Cena bude stejná jako při přechodu na TSW 2. Všechna existující DLC se postupně převedou... je zde ale riziko, že opět o nějaké DLC přijdeme. Zůstane Vám ale v TSW 2. Datum vydání jako vždy v srpnu.
