This story that the DB BR 420 has appeared on the roadmap for years is getting boring.
If for whatever reason they can't develop or implement it, at least they can do without mentioning it again and again.
Even the famous phrase “it will come out when it is ready” is a tirade of dubious taste.
It's starting to get tiring, frankly.
I ended up canceling my pre-order. It's the first time I've done it.
And I'm sorry (DTG Jan) because I've always supported the TSW program.
Reasons:
-I don't like the Desiro as a train.
-Looking at it again, the route is boring and devoid of points of interest;
-there isn't even a new freight wagon (that's one!);
-the Port looks like a morgue;
-the presentation on YouTube it was very bad.
Regarding the sound, I can't judge because I have never seen this train, even if for me the sound is not very important.
I hope DTG takes more care with the next Add-ons.
In place of a route like this, I would suggest rolling stock packages for use on existing routes.

JT's product is definitely more accurate.
The problem is, I just don't like British themed routes.
So what should I do?
Buy a route because roller coasters are included?
Also because DTG is the only one who does it.
Some Germans should (every now and then) know how lucky they are to see their trains in a video game.
For many other Countries it is a chimera.
Alternatively what's on the menu?

Already pre-ordered.
I like the idea of getting the port of Aschaffenburg in ToD4 and with Free Roam.
And of course also the BR 642.
However, I hope that the next German routes (expected in 4-6 months) will be a little more significant in terms of km.
Maybe Frankfurt or a big city.
And then there is also the Austrian route which excites me quite a bit.
And we are all waiting for BR 218/232/420.
Sooner or later they will come. 
Die anderen Extras sind eher bescheiden im Vergleich zu TSW3.

The BR Class 142 is a horrible train.
Not to say it's poorly made by JT, but in the sense that it's a really clunky train in real life.

Probably because TSW is "afflicted" by the "craze" of timetable realism.
In my opinion they should develop more single locomotives and trains (the Consist Editor will arrive soon), instead of creating a train combined with a route each time (very expensive in terms of development time).
From what can be seen from road map, it seems that the English are the most popular at the moment with many third parties in their favor.
The Swiss route (narrow gauge) may not appeal (to all).
Germany seems a little overlooked.
With TSW 4 an existing path has been updated (very beautiful indeed) and now a very short path arrives, even partially recycled (the port of Aschaffenburg was already present with MSB) and, apparently, with a single train.
So far in the screenshots (with Zacns, Habbiins and Roos-T) you do not see a new freight wagon.
Hopes for the DB BR 420 are over.
It would appear that Rivet Games' next route will be the Bernina Express.
With all the nice trains running in Switzerland, here's this narrow gauge paranoia.
