I just had to come here and post about this trail - and yes I have permission to break the NDA A Little: Wink:

Having just received the route and having no knowledge of things "up North" I set out last night to make notes of the stations and Their sizes, industries and places of interest so I could start to plan out the K1 scenarios.

MY GOODNESS!
There are some absolutely beautiful areas with featured buildings and bridges and Places That Look Completely Unique.

And as for the industries!

I've been chatting with people involved with the route for many years and seen quite a bit of the progress (not least on Derek's blog) and seen the route map posted hey so I had high hopes for it - as you can probably tell by my tone in this post .. It's Still blown me away!

Conscensus on UKTS based on a previous post there by Thompson is that although they would prefer freeware scenarios to be published through workshop, they will not have a problem if they are uploaded to UKTS or similar sites.

I will also think again about buying the route if only workshop scenarios are allowed. They are just too restricting.

Also included is 'Winter Express'. This scenario depicts an evening express service from St. Enoch to St. Pancras via the Settle to Carlisle line. You will take the service using a Jubilee class along the line as far as Settle.

It is indeed square miles. This looks to be a very nice add-on. The period modelled is 1950's to 60's. Trains shown so far are late 50's to mid 60's. The LNER K1 steam lok from Victory works is intended to compliment this route as well.

The OTA is from the British Rail era, Early 1980's to mid 90's. Some in this livery did last for many years after this period . The EWS version is for the later privatisation period up until present day.

In this pack they are unable to use particle scripting, apparently they have nothing available that is compatible with the scripting of the lok.
