London to Cardiff is published by JT not DTG. The problem at Cardiff is known about and will be fixed in an update. There is a fix mentioned on UKTS, you have to re-time one of the trains by one minute, or wait for the update. Sadly there are a number of issues with this route including signalling, hopefully the update will fix all of these.

Regarding the name Dovetail, in English this is also name for a a carpentry joint for joining two pieces of timber together. Probably more what DTG have in mind was conectivity. I also have no scenario so far.

Some items download automatically, some like the PRESS BR155 you must have the code, and you need to sign up to get this. Those who sigend up get extra items not available to theose who didn't.

Exter to Paington is ok, like any DTG route it has it's problems, but I think youwill be less likely to see some of them. South London Network is also OK if you want to drive commuter trains as is the Brighton Line. The North London line is also quite well done. If you have or buy the necessary routes then you could try the Glasgow Suburban Network. Most of the freeware routes are set in the past, although there is Laneshaw Lane Modern on UKTS which is quite atmospheric, although ficticious. There are also some more modern freeware routes on DPS here http://www.dpsimulation.org.uk/routes.html although you might struggle a little if you don't already have the required payware. As always in this sim, even with freeware you have to spend money to be able to use it. JT's Edinburgh Newcastle and Western Main Lines are a little rough around the edges, you may want to wait for a sale. AP's Wherry Lines are very nice if expensive and he will soon release a modern scenario pack using modern units like the Class 153, 156, 150, 170 etc. In the meantime it is a glorious feeling to stick your head out of the cab of the updated class 37 with the throttle wide open. If you are happy to try less modern then North West Coast Mainline and West Coast Mailine over Shap are well done although the former is a little older, but modern scenarios are available for both. Edinburgh to Glasgow and Trent Valley are well done but limited. -
Depends which era you like, there are a lot of UK routes, payware and freeware, from the 1950's to present day. Also depend whether you prefer freight, passenger or S-bahn style driving. Short drives or long drives.

My browser is set to ask me where to save each download every time, because I have folders for each country with route, each pay-ware provider , Steam, Diesel, Electric, Coach, Wagon for freeware and re-skins and so on. Makes it much easier to keep control of. Doesn't matter if it is UKTS, Railsim de or any other site. Omsi I also have folders for, and any other programmes that I need to download additional files for.

If 3Dzug etc are not interested, I know of another company that might be interested, rather than try DTG. They are British and they would need advice, but they have high standards and would not release something that was broken. They would also not take on the project unless they were confident they could finish it to a high standard. They are one of several that I have helped in the past. VR would also be worth asking. Although I am sure that they have their own plan for the year ahead, I think it would always be worthwhile to ask the question.

I still have my TS2014 installation and a comparison between the UKTS files in this and the latest in TS2016 shows no apparrent difference. I have also downloaded the UKTS pack from the developers forum, uninstalled and re-installed. Again no difference.
-
I also have latest pack. I uninstalled and re-installed it with no effect.

For fans of modern plastic
from the forthcoming scenario pack.Abellio Greater Anglia 170270 approaches Lingwood with 2P11 08:45 Great Yarmouth - Norwich.
This unit is unique in being the only 170 to receive the darker version of the ONE livery. 12 years after application, it still survives, albeit with a white bodyside stripe rather than the old rainbow stripes.
From the forthcoming scenario pack for our Wherry Lines route.
To help with their unit shortage, Abellio Greater Anglia hire an East Midlands Trains class 158, to operate a morning trip from Norwich to Lowestoft and back.
158774 is seen crossing Reedham Swing Bridge on the return portion of this working (2J63 06:35 Lowestoft - Norwich).
From the forthcoming scenario pack for our Wherry Lines route.
From the first scenario, Abellio Greater Anglia 156419 is seen accelerating away from Reedham, whilst working 2C00 05:06 Norwich - Great Yarmouth.

News from AP;
Work has begun on the first scenario pack for our Wherry Lines route.
With the main route pack having covered all scheduled class 37 workings, this will focus mainly on DMU operations during 2015. -
