Spring brake is correct if normally the handbrake is held off by air pressure but applied automatically by springs if the air pressure drops or is removed. This is the method used on a lot of modern British Mutliple Units. It is independent of the normal train brake.

Out now http://www.armstrongpowerhouse…%2Fproduct&product_id=158
What is exactly featured?
Dedicated engine sound for each notch on the power handle
Distinctive cooling fans
Traction motor whine
Electric Train Heating (ETH) option with higher idle rpm
Separate cab sounds
Bogie run sounds to give the sensation of movement
User operable two-tone horn using the space-bar and 'B' key
Cab instrument sounds
Realistic sound fading effects
Accurate volume levels. This means the quietest sounds are as quiet as they should be in relation to the loudest as per reality.
Improved acceleration physics
1 hour scenario for the DTG GEML London to Ipswich route which sees you drive a mail train between Ipswich & Stratford. Set in 2001.
If all of that wasn't enough, we have gone beyond just sounds and also implemented some brand new features:
EM2000 screen
Temperature simulation
Subtle exhaust effects in time with engine revving up
Functioning reverser handle with AWS self-test
Driver vigilance device (DVD)
AWS with accurate delay between passing over the magnet and hearing the warning sound
Slow speed control
Functioning passengers and goods brake timings
Full headlight/tail light control
Hazard lights
Realistic brake air flow indicator behaviour
Correct locomotive number and cab end number displayed within the cab
Variable speed windscreen wipers
Flickering cab light when starting engine
Please note, this pack is NOT compatible with any external controllers such as the XBOX or RailDriver. Also, it will remove sounds from any liveries/reskins which are not compatible. -

Victory works new project here http://victoryworksts.blogspot…tpo-lets-get-started.html soon it seems it will be possible to drop off and pick up mailbags at high speed in TS as used to be done in the real world.
If you can see it there is a nice shot of a pick up here from around the 5 minute mark , the third film shows both the pick up and drop off. I think health and safety would not allow this now! The film was shot on the LMS West Coast Mainline in 1936.Externer Inhalt www.youtube.comInhalte von externen Seiten werden ohne Ihre Zustimmung nicht automatisch geladen und angezeigt.Durch die Aktivierung der externen Inhalte erklären Sie sich damit einverstanden, dass personenbezogene Daten an Drittplattformen übermittelt werden. The stream will run from 1pm Saturday non stop right through to 1pm Sunday... the last few hours usually prove to be amusing in my sleep deprived state, i'm not good when I don't get my sleep!
It's all in aid of Cancer Research UK - there is a JustGiving page already set up here:http://www.justgiving.com/mattpeddlesden-2016-1
Any and all donations, big or small, are all really appreciated - thank you advance!
http://twitch.tv/mattpeddlesdenJust as a heads up.
For the past 4 weeks I've been working tirelessly (over 10 hours a day) to finish a route of mine called Nessland Lough. Some of the older members on here may remember an old route of mine called Nessland Inlet. This is a complete overhaul and extension to that route.
It is now available on the UKTrainsim store page in support of Matt Peddlesden's 24hr Trainsimlive Charity Stream in aid of Cancer Research UK.
It will be a digital download however please bare with us, we will be sending you a link to the route manually, everyone will be trying their best to get the route to you as soon as they can.
UkTrainsim store page
http://www.atomic-systems.com/asp/cdOrder.aspx
(This just requires your usual UKTrainsim login to access)
Route description
http://www.uktrainsim.com/index2.php?form_reader=nessland
(Please note that the route itself has two DLC requirements (ECML South and WCML over Shap) and three of the seven included scenarios require the BR Blue Loco Pack)
The route is approx 17 miles in length (approx. 40 mins on an all station stopper service) and has 10 Stations. From rolling fields, to busy towns, to splitting golf courses to skirting the sea shore. This route has it all.
To quote HertBob (who was an absolute trooper during testing) (I hope you don't mind me quoting you Bob) "When I first loaded up my scenario once you'd added the scenery I genuinely though "wow", and that can't be a bad thing.
"For the price of just £4.80 (inc. VAT) not only do you get a cracking extra route to drive but you are safe in the knowledge that 100% of your purchase is going to a very worth charity.
In good old salesman fashion...
and that's not all
The purchase also includes free access to any future updates and scenarios for the route.
Many thanks for your timePhil
