Kestrel was always a favourite of mine. I have a nice OO model from Heljan, but in my opinion IHH didn't do it justice. DTG have a lot more loks from IHH that they could release, but they need to upgrade them first. By the way, has anybody noticed that google translate has become even worse lately.

Yes, Paul Godber of IHH was very sloppy with his add-ons, I have them all, and Micheal Whitely's. Mr Godber also was very arrogant and had zero tolerance of criticism, regardless of whether it was valid or not. So far Dtg have made optical improvements (good), and audio improvements (still mostly poor) to all of his former models that they have released.

I have them all as well, but the Warship is showing it's age, as is the IHH Western. The DTG Hymek is far better than the freeware one. I suspect that DTG will not do a lot to represent hydraulic transmission. If AP do decide to do enhancement packs then I would expect them to use scripting to improve things within the game limitations.

https://train-simulator.com/hydraulics-at-work/ looks like at last we will get a Warship (British V200) Hopefully a dynamically numbered Western and a blue version of the Hymek as well, Ap will no doubt adapt the western pack to match, then he just needs to do the Hymek and the Warship. There are still running examples of these for sounds, hopefully they will be enhancement packs, no doubt one is planned for the western, I'm sure he showed photos of recording one last year.

There is also a discount if you buy all four versions 59.95. Seems a little unusual that the total price offer for all four is different to the total price if you bought the original, then the other three. So if you waited for the earlier liveries it seems it has cost you ten euro's.

Available now http://www.vulcanproductions.c…/p9/preserved_deltic_pack £8.79 instead of £10.99. Until the 25th July.

    NOTE:

Unless the physics are significantly better with the updates and an editor appears I will not be dipping my toe into TSW. No point in swapping one broken sim for another. Such a short route suggests limitations, either they don't have time to go further, or they are trying to keep it playable for the majority. I wonder if they will improve their sounds and functionality, or will there be working switches with no function.

Much as I like this forum, I sometimes think speculation de would be a better title. I suspect that the shop page was nothing more than bait, and many have bitten magnificently. As for publicity, it has often been said that there is no such thing as bad publicity, not entirely true, but very close to reality. Personally I will await some real information. My blood pressure is already high enough.

This can be caused by too many scenarios, as it was for me. My solution, two content folders, on for UK, one for non uk, renamed as I need them. You could simply move some routes to another folder, but the advantage of two content folders is that each has it's own RVDBCache.bin and SDBCache.bin and after the first run with each folder they match the contents of their respective folder and avoid TS crashing.

A couple of members of UKTS have also expressed interest in these coaches. There is a great need for a German equivelant to Steam Sounds Supreme, but nobody appears to be prepared to assume the mantle. Pity some of their sounds can't be adapted with a patch.

The Plus edition simply includes the separately available wagon pack as a bundle, so far none of these plus packs have exclusive wagons. So if you bought the wagon pack separately, you don't need to buy the plus pack. Simple way to check, look at the requirements for the non-plus version and see if the wagon pack requirements match the ones you already have.
