Hi everyone,

I'd like to clarify that the ABe 4/4 iii railcar does indeed have speed control. I invested a lot of time and money to visit the Bernina Line again last Autumn specifically to survey the cabin and officially pair up with a driver. It was an amazing experience as these cab rides always are from St.Moritz all the way to Tirano. The driving method and throttle control was demonstrated in detail throughout the journey and I can confirm that this railcar does indeed have speed control as we have provided it. This is a similar situation to the Ge 4/4 ii - a full survey and cab ride was undertaken and after mid life traction enhancements these locos also have this type of control method. In fact the two are very similar to drive as my driver told me on the way to Tirano.

For anyone who doesn't believe this I've provided a method of selecting a basic liner throttle control in both products but this is not prototypical. Hope this clears things up.

It should work by default with the routes listed on the product page, so far I have it working with the Thomson RHB routes and the RSSLO routes without too much difficulty. But for existing scenarios created without this pack you need a few minutes in the editor to get the full benefit of for example the extended weather patterns.

So I have both TS and Model Railway. I've been with TS since Railsimulator Days, and with the models for over 40 years, this adds up to a very large sum of money over the years. But I rarely pay full price for anything, so although it is still a lot, it is less than it might be. I do not smoke, and rarely drink. A night out in Aberdeen can easily cost £ 100 pounds or a lot more if you need a taxi home (£40 for me), some of my colleagues do this every weekend. I never really worry about my total spend, just whether I can afford it or not. If you are working, it is your choice how you spend your wages. Some like to piss it down the drain as we say with alcohol, others live for the moment, and some prefer to have something that will keep on entertaining for a long time. As long as you do not harm anybody else it is nobody's business but your own. A lottery win would be nice though.

This pack contains 47829,47840,47847,47851,47853 and 47840 renumbered as 47077 (with headboard) as seen in the last months of loco haulage on Virgin Cross Country services in 2002. This pack sets out to modify the Kuju Class 47 in order to present many variations of the class in condition seen between 1975-1985 with TOPS numbering and no sealed beam headlight. The Railways of Devon 1985 (July 1985) is a heavily rebuilt version of DTG's Riviera Line,in most areas with scenery completely redone over the course of the last 4 years. It features some stunning vistas,semaphore signalling and the level of detail that you have come to expect from our routes. We have aimed to recreate that "gritty" 1980's aura,matched up with the "Glorious Devon" feel as you head along the coast at Dawlish. We hope you enjoy this route,which has taken hundreds of hours to become a reality.
Note: For those who want a detailed article on the route,and an in depth look into it,please have a read of the manual,which goes into great detail over what went into the project,including an entire binder of notes,and the full Summer 1985 WTT for the lines between Bristol and Plymouth!
The route includes 27 scenarios,most of which are EXACT recreations of workings seen in a 2 week period (these can be found in the "Notes" in the manual) in July 1985.

DP Simulation have very kindly made Quick Drive routes and consists for our Railways of Devon 1985 route,there's around 120 different variations for AI services,all authentic to the period.
These will work based on what stock you have installed,so by no means do you need to own everything included. Those of you who have downloaded Darren's excellent QD's for the Liverpool to Manchester route will know what to expect.
