My 218 plus Stw haven't been working since day one. No startup, no smoke, no ZWS. This said after reinstalling TS three times to try to fix "something". All other (older) vR with Stw works. Now I'm on v6 of the BR218 alone, and it suddenly does not work in an aufgabe that worked fine before (Tilmann's RE3053 from Lubeck, which uses a Stw). It seems (for a few of us) the 218 can't swallow Steuerwagens, so I'm currently using vR's BR112 instead. Been in contact with Ulf about this, but there seem to be no solution.

I am a "newbie" at decoders, but after planning for about 40 years, I decided to get rid of H0 scale and go fully N scale. But not before I saw perfect couplings between cars, locos (Fleischmann Profi), plus I could get it all DCC. I now have a 2,40m x 1m layout where I mostly have the theme "diesel". With all those soundloks of course. No sound - no buy.
There is only one loco eating up my DCC decoders, Fleischmann's RC2. That is because the original construction is hopeless anyway, prone to short-circuiting already before the DCC decoder is in. The construction is electrically hopeless and should be recycled and reset ASAP. And you cannot digitalize something that is more or less broken from day one.
Bottom line, I think quite a few locos were made "digital" way before they were ready for it. Of course they burn DCC decoders when the solderings of the print make contact with the bogies in sharp curves, and so on...

So why do I post this? Because Metronom colours are refreshing, and I really hate Traffic Red. Just had to get this out. I can live with those terrible Dostos as well, just not Red. Thx to you guys for making those Metronom missions for HH Deluxe, plus alle the mods. My original RSC metronom is modified beyond belief. Also while waiting for a certain (new) BR 146 to be patched, this ol' 146 is all good

And these subltle differences may be the reason I cannot get it to work, if I read you correctly (I''m not good at German anyway)

I have all the BR 218's, v3 v4, still the stw version does not work for me, as the repaint3 for vrot as well. The Br110 stw package on the other hand does. Anyway I reported this directly to vR, as I am totally set out by this.

While having a battle with all the recent new stuff and reinstalling, I also found old stuff to be relaxing. HaSi original
PS; added a pic from HL Updated. After doing this and that to TS, I lost the original HaSi missions. OK The freeware HaSi is way better. But believe it or not, I always miss the original HaSi, with all it's faults. Brutal curves at 40km/h (learn to adjust at slower speeds), loco hopping and dancing around (not far from reality, said from me as a previous railway worker in norway)... the original Fog on the Lenne in all it's darkness is one of the finest missions I know. Pic 1. Otherwise, sorry for a messy posting, and have a good week-end

I cannot get mine to work. Not from the loco, nor from the stw. Also not cold & dark. Cannot switch on battery, cannot start. Tried a total reinstall Br218 Vrot, repaint 1, repaint 2, this new package, no success. Btw, had the same problem with repaint 3 (blue-beige)

I did have occasional freezing when saving the aufgabe with my old computer, using the motherboard's built-in Realtek, but not shure if the few freezes were audio related. Now I have a new computer, also using the built-in Realtek audio. Damned thing was the audio was gone after every TS restart, had to restart the computer to get the sound back in TS. Speaking about the 64bit exe.
Seems I have solved that problem for now, using Steam offline, and unplugging the net...

We all have things that are most important to us. For me it is functional signallisation. And the Marschbahn actually has really fine signallisation. The houses really look like houses of the region, instead of DTG that uses the same houses in each and every route.
I really like the Marschbahn and i look forward to the extension. Even greater if the extension went all the way to Ribe or Esbjerg ofcourse.
Agreed. I have been much around in northern Germany, especially around Jadebusen (family area), and the Marschbahn is something I really recognize, seen from a "not being a driver" perspective. At the same time I fully agree with LG Tilmann.

I reported a CTD 10 mins into Finnentrop-Hagen this morning, but they can't be that fast...

The hard way: Check each folder and open the Routeproperties.xml with Notepad. Easier: Install RW Tools 2019, and you can se what is what is what. Takes some learning, though, but the basic stuff (checking sceneries, swapping locos) is in fact easy.
