Steam trains are too complicated to drive for me. But this one looks so beautiful that i will probably buy it and make the effort to learn how to drive it.

Koblenz - Köln
This will probably be the next set of Real Drives to be released.

Noch eine frage. Will the finished version of the Trommel have pzb90 and Sifa?

From one of the most visionary albums ever recorded. Everything predicted in the lyrics on this album happened.

@Maik Goltzsaid: “The Ko-Vi was my own project“
In the interest of keeping things positive; what a great project. One of the very best TS addons ever.
I think the reason people are speculating (and i understand it might be unpleasant for you) is that subconciously they are hoping for more routes of that callibre.
I can liken it to my work as a musician. When we play a good night sometimes there are people who get kind of angry when we are done. It is really because they are sad the party is over, but ofcourse not a pleasant thing for us.

I must that when i was new to TS this summer, i just bought every German route on steam. I never once paid attention to who developed it, as it wouldn’t have mattered to me at that point.
-
I never said it dissapeared from steam. I said i was wondering if it would happen. I wondered because the locomotive in question was removed from the vR shop. Then another user was wondering about ko-vi, and i was just extrapolating on that.
I didn’t know that the steam version of Ko-Vi was directly from Maik. How was i even to know that?
-
I wonder if Ko-Vi and the br101 expertline will dissapear from steam as well?

Is it possible to use quick drive scenarios made on the standard route on the deluxe?
-
That’s the problem with TS now. Every developer knows it is a dying game. So my guess is that not much payware routes will be developed for it anymore.
What DTG should do is develop a TS/TSW bridge that made loading/conversion of TS content into TSW.
And before you all say “it is not possible”, ofcourse it is possible. If DTG wanted it is possible. Not easy but not impossible. People said 64bit was impossible too. All data can be converted into new platforms. Build a TS emulator into TSW or something like that (or something entirely else....)
That way all the money and hard work invested in TS will not be lost.

I don’t think it has something to do with how much ram it is used.
One thing i’ve discovered in TS is that certain combinations of rolling stock just do not play nice together.
@Broflugo
It should not be necesary but the only way to avoid wasting a lot of work on a scenario is saving it with a new version number for every change you make, clear cache, restart the scenario from the main menu. That way when you make a change that crashes TS you know where the error lies. -
LOOOOL untill now i’ve actually read it as “fauna” and that was why i was wondering. Couldn’t make sense of it.

Unfortunately Railworks.dk has been plagued by server problems lately.

Well both yes and no. According to AP there is no way to make fog work at night (i wonder, did fog work at night in quick drives in the standard TS weather?)
So the solution in the latest update is that weather patterns fog and stormy (which used fog too) always have a daylight sky. So now, no matter what time you set the clock to, it looks like 12:00. This looks really strange since if you set the time to 00:00 the sky is bright daylight, but everything else is night.
So in effect AP fog and stormy only have one time of day, which is 12:00. The daylight does not get weaker as night time gets nearer like it does in clear, cloudy and overcast.
I wonder how standard TS weather made this work when AP can’t? Or perhaps it never worked with standard TS weather either?
For snow the solution is better. After 17:00 the fog part of the snow weather pattern has simply been removed, so at least the sky is dark.
My suggestion to him was that for weather patterns stormy and fog he could just use clear and explain in the manual why stormy and fog is only appears in daytime. This would be a better solution because when you set the clock to midnight, the sky being set to 12:00 while everything else looking like 00:00 looks wonky.
A manual solution might be to enable dynamic clouds if you run stormy or fog quick drives after 17:00. This sometimes switches the weather to standard TS weather.
Not sure i am happy, i might still return to standard ts weather and consider my money lost.

That was one of the errors i reported to AP so that is good news. We are in communication about the “no fog after sunset” in QD error too.
-
@marcus
Those are rain patterns not fog patterns.
Quick Drive does not use any of those. It uses the Fog variant 1 pattern which should work without restrictions.
